If you are mature enough to decide what is good and what is bad for you. Secondly and more importantly, do your parents also respect your decisions as mature or are they worried about your decision making and judgement power.
If you ask your conscience these two Qs and get the honest answers, then you should do whatever the answer is.

I was discussing this with a friend a few days back and personally yeah i do because if parents keep their child in the house with no freedom they will never have any confidence what so ever and that will get them no where when they finally can go out

hi! i'm only 24 years old and surely i don't know if i would do differently when i finally become a mom... But based on my experience my mom would let me go out with my friends for a bunch of reasons... she knows my friends and my friends parents, we don't go out of town, we don't drink and drive, i don't stay overnight, i have curfews and a very impt thing is that she trusts me. She knows that if im planning to do something bad, i can do it anyway whenever and wherever (sex), so she'd rather let me do my things given the rules and limitations. Not that i'm bragging but i was a good teenager, i don't want to get into trouble coz i don't want to disappoint my parents, that simple.
