My guess is that she doesnt have a million things going on that make her tired. My boyfriend (26 years old) has college full time and a full time job - he is tired from lack of sleep and always on the go.
If something like this isnt the case, it could be that she isnt getting restful sleep at night. She isnt sleeping well enough to get rested for a full day, or even half a day. The best bet would to talk to her doctor and get some tests done - my mom has done this because she is always tired.

We're all different in our sleep/rest needs. Rule out the medical issues, as others have suggested.
Perhaps she is not getting fulfilling sleep at night, and hence is always tired. There are sleep clinics, such as at Addendbrook hospital, where sleep issues can be further investigated. This has been featured in a recent BBC2 tv show, on Mondays and Tuesdays. She'd need a GP referral to get there.
See also http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/ for some more info on sleep.
Good luck! Rob

The only one that can answer that question is a doctor. The cause could be one of many things, low iron, thyroid etc etc etc. You posted your question in Mental Health, so maybe you are thinking that she might be suffering from depression, obviously with depression you do get VERY tired, but that would not be the only symptom, so if she is showing any other symptoms of depression, telling her to go to the doctors will not work. You will need to give her lots of encouragement to go and say you will go along with her, as her confidence will probably take a knock if she is suffering with depression.
Whatever though she needs to see a doctor who can give her the help she needs or refer her to a specialist or for blood tests etc.
Best of luck.

It could be many many reasons. I'm glad you want to find out, for her and for you. It could be that she needs to sleep on a better mattress, she could be a little depressed, have a vitamin D deficiency or other vitamin deficiencies, have severe anemia, be unmotivated or bothered by something, have chronic hereditary laziness, is getting extra beauty sleep for your benefit.... Don't know, but maybe her doctor could help.

I agree with the idea of a blood test to rule out illness. I want to add, sleep can be an escape - from SEX. Maybe she's just not into it.

If she feel sleepy after each meal ask her for a blood test and recommend her to stay away from fat
depresssion sometime not allow poeple to sleep well tehrefore i do not quite agree with first reply to your question.
have you evey stay with her 48 hrs ( not allow her to be even 1 min alone ) to ensure she does not consume something un-usual such as drugs ?
