A lot of right-wing Christians like to point out how "violent" Muslims are.

So lets be fair, and see how peaceful Christians have been over, say, the last century:

World War 1: millions dead--all Christians killed by other Christians
Amristar, India, 1919: hundreds ofHindus (unarmed) gunned down--by Christians
Hundreds of blacks lynched in the Jim Crow South--all Christians murdered by Christiians
World War 2--millions of Christians killed--by other Christians (plus six million Jews--killed by Christians
and lest we think this all just history, don't forget the "ethnic cleansing" in the Balkans a few years ago--thousands of Muslims killed, women and children included--but they also systematically raped the Muslim women whil they were at it--all done by "Christians"

Don't you agree Christians are really peaceful?

Animals (mostly dogs and cats) are very comfortable around me. Dogs and cats that I barely know are willing to leap onto my lap and take a nap, or if I'm lying down, they'll lie on my chest/stomach area and rest.

Animals have always acted like this around me, but I never understood why. Do they see me as a non-threatening person or what?

Im not talking Beatles or Elvis, Im talking Boston, Kiss, Chicago, Queen and Kansas. I was looking up songs and i couldnt remember the name of one. 1. Aluminum Wiring throughout the whole house, does not appear to have ever been updated.
2. 2nd bathroom shower needs retiled before used otherwise more damage.
3. Breaker box needs replaced due to no longer being guaranteed and losing their underwriter.
4. Sprinkler system missing vacuum breaker required by city.


These are the main issues along with more cosmetic. We have a contract on the house and can still walk away. How would you approach this though?

My mom suggestin II should no longer talk to a girl I met online because she thinks all people on online communities are crazy, I told her that she is just an easygoing, funny, intelligent girl to talk to and I really would like to develop a long lasting friendship.
