In the dream, which seemed so realistic, I was sleeping in the room next to my studio where my bed is.
Except my studio was made up of large, floor to ceiling windows. I heard my name called by the sweetest voice I had ever heard in my life. I knew there was something very dangerous in getting up to find out who it was.
But the calling of my name continued, so that against my better judgment I went to one of the studio's window.
nobody was there, but at the door, was knocking a black haired girl with moon-alabaster flesh. When she saw me at the window, she did not speak, but beckoned me to open the door, for she wanted to come in.
When I asked her. WHAT FOR? She opened her brightly coulored rer mouth to respond, and as she did, no words came out . . for her mouth held a pool of blood, which tricked down her white dress.
When this happened she smiled, showing teeth that were stained red. I then closed the blinds to the windows, quickly, one by one, as she continued to knock on the glass of all the windows.
I then pushed my brain to waken me.

I don't know which is the most frightening, but there are usually several common components.

First off, mirrors in my dreams are always terrifying in some way - either a horrific visual distortion or a sense that there's some evil presence behind them and I can sometimes reach through without knowing what's on the other side.

If I'm being attacked in a dream, I'm almost always armed and trying to shoot back, but either the gun won't fire or the shots don't have any effect. My most recent dream of this type involved being attacked by a spear-wielding robot in an attic of a strange house. I had run up the stairs to get away and hid behind crates in the attic, but was followed. As the robot came through the door, he raised his spear and charged at me - I emptied the magazine of my pistol into him and hit him with every shot with absolutely no effect. Woke up just as he was drawing back his spear to strike.

One very strange dream I had last summer involved chasing an apeman/werewolf type creature across balconies & rooftops, pausing to shoot several times (but as usual, the gun won't fire). Don't quite remember how that one ended, but I definitely had the upper hand.

I had a reoccurring dream as a girl. The family farm I grew up on. I recall it was winter and my family was homeless living in the snow all our belongings were everywhere. Just yards from our home. The grandparents who lived next door just left us outside. I thought it was a strange dream until...January 2005 the grandparents sold the land under my parents home. My sister called and said she went back today and all the buildings were burned. Only the Barn was still standing. It was a beautiful place on the side of a mountain range, so peaceful and open. Taken for the almighty dollar.

Last week I had a dream that I was watching a movie about these three siblings with my mom. Pretty much at the beginning of the movie, they all are killed, and then the rest of the movie is about all the awful ways their bodies get mutilated. I won't go into details. Anyway, I dislike that kind of movie, and my mom has even less of a stomach for it, so I'm telling her to turn it off, but she is completely ignoring me, and by the end of the dream I'm screaming at her to just turn it off over and over. And then I woke up.

I don't usually have that kind of dream. It was weird. I was sick, I think I may have had a fever, which might explain it.

I was in a little white room with locked doors, and the doctor was standing outside talking to the nurse, saying, "He has clinge, tandram, and resert-wild. He's going to have to stay here forever." thing is, I understood what all those diseases were. I woke up shaking.

Another time I dreamed my son was killed, run over by a car, and I was holding his body, and there was blood everywhere, and the driver was crying and saying he never saw the kid, and I wasn't even mad at the driver, I was just so sad and helpless. Woke up crying.

Lived in a house that sat low in a valley. It had glass on 3 sides and half of the roof was skylights. Interior rooms all bled neon green ooze and had black-light effect. The dream ended with giant bulldozers pushing earth into the valley on top of my house with me inside; like they were filling in a whole in the ground.

Was some really freaky sh it!

I dreamed that my guy made me get on a plane and go on a business trip with him and a friend....all i kept thinking was that I didn't have any clothes just my purse (that was in my dream).....then he talked to me for hours and fell asleep....I had no idea where we were going either! All this happened because I popped him with a wet towel in the leg! That's how my dream started!

I had a dream that my grandpa had been abusing my little brother and then I found out but no one believed me. My grandpa found out that I knew what he was doing and he wanted to kill me. I was running away from his crazy attemts to kill me and then I just remember climbing on top of a van and then a giant grizzly bear just came into the dream and then I woke up crying. Now I am kinda scared of my grandpa.

I had a dream that I couldn't move a muscle and all of the sudden I was floating above my bed but I could still see myself lying there unable to move, scream or anything.

When I was little I had a dream about this big scary oak tree that ate babies. I hated oak trees for years after that. I still kind of think they look like a creepy tree and I'm an adult.
