Rap sucks first of all & then you need some pointers on some good white rock & roll!!!! I'm talking no black influenced music that has killed music as we know it!!

I don't really know...what you're getting at, but i'l say something. Not only do i love stuff by BOSTON , Queen (big Queen / Brian May fan), Kansas, etc. , I'm also a guitarist that's been in too many "Classic Rock" cover bands to count - and i don't care about (c)rap either.....

That is more often than not a normal reaction. I have theorized that it has to do with the fact that rap has no singers and I doubt the innate ability to even carry a tune as opposed to the vast majority of classic rock groups that had almost universal harmony built into it.

I like classic rock as well. Like you, I can't understand rap, and I also can't relate to it, but it doesn't sound quite as bad as it used to when I first heard it. I really dislike some of the lyrics, though, especially the violent or very explicit ones, but that would cover some rock as well. Having said that, I have to say that I love R&B and blues as well as rock

I love classic rock. I do like the VERY old-school early 80's rap, when it was new and fun - just because it reminds of a lot of good times as a preteen/young teen. But the minute it went gangster, I stopped listening.

Yea, I grew up listening to Classic rock, but it wasn't called "classic rock" back then. I have recently started to enjoy country music also. Some rap is okay if it's tasteful.

I like rap when I can relate to it... but it still has to have at least a chorus part to the song that has at least a little singing.
"Give it Away" by Red Hot Chili Peppers may be the best one I like.
