My fiance has a 3 1/2 year old boy who does not want to learn. When we try to play learning games with him, he says "see, almost done", and tries to hurry through it so he can sit on the couch or on his bed and stare at nothing. We have several games and movies for him to interact with because his mother doesn't spend any time teaching him, so when he's here, we try to sit aside at least 30 minutes a day to help him learn by using games, flash cards or movies. He goes to pre-school, but it's mostly just an organized play group and he still takes himself away from learning to sit on an adults lap to do nothing. It's getting aggrivating because he's behind and we can't help him because he doesn't want it. He's gotten two screenings and they say that he's extremely behind for his age group and his social/emotional behavior is something to be worried about. We don't force him to sit and learn but we have to figure out something because he's not getting the attention he needs w/ his mom.

Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was "something wrong" with one of the two lizards he holds prisoner in his room.

"He's just lying there looking sick," he told me. "I'm serious, Dad. Can you help?"

I put my best lizard-healer expression on my face and followed him into his bedroom. One of the little lizards was indeed lying on his back, looking stressed. I immediately knew what to do.


"Honey," I called, "come look at the lizard!"

"Oh, my gosh!" my wife exclaimed. "She's having babies."

"What?" my son demanded. "But their names are Bert and Ernie, Mom!"
I was equally outraged.
"Hey, how can that be? I thought we said we didn't want
them to reproduce," I said accusingly to my wife.

"Well, what do you want me to do, post a sign in their cage?" she inquired (I think she actually said this sarcastically!).

I mean how you talk about zimbawe or....! anyway a crime is a crime, this people were torture for no reson ,and maybe because they are foreigners and black, but we all know it if one do wrong to innocent people, their salary are the curses written in the bible Levit 19:33,34. and this people are not musilm, there are innocent african christiens, GOD knows.

I have this white shirt that I love and of course it was exspensive. Well someone in my house threw soaked towel in the laundry on top of it. Not know that this happened basically all of my white grew little green dots of mold. I am not so much worried about the other stuff because no one will see the under garments but this one shirt I am worried about. I have already washed it twice with bleach, stain stick, spray and wash, oxy clean etc, but nothing has work. Now I have not put it through the dryer yet so I know I still have a chance. Any and all help would be appreciate. This is my favorite shirt and would rather not replace it if I don't have too. Thanks....

A nitric acid solution is titrated with a standardized 0.0206 M. NaOH (aq) solution. If 17.86 mL of the NaOH solution was required to neutralize 25.00 mL of HNO3 (aq) what was the pH of the original nitric acid solution?

Do i start off by doing 17.86 * 0.0206/ (17.86 + 25) Where do i go from here?? i keep getting stuck.. thank you so much if any one can help even somewhat!

I am not Anti-religious, actually grew up 12 years in christian private schooling....

I was taught 1) that god is omnipotent, all knowing
and taught 2) god created satan, who was an angel that turned bad

If god is omnipotent, why did he create satan? He knew that satan would be cast to a place called hell, and that his children would go there too....

why why why??
