'Gain' would depend on how you view success. It seems clear that you see wealth and power as a sign of success. Personally, I find this materialistic and foolish. I see wisdom and love as a sign of success, and no one ever gained either through stealing/desecrating.

Sometimes I wonder if it isn't something inside that person that just needs to be nourished..In the end, they are only cheating themselves....and one day, believe me, they will have to pay for it...
