I wouldn't say it is impossible to loose a pound a day! I mean anything is possible with the help of God. How about you drink plenty of water for the whole week and start skipping dinner UNLESS you are absolutely starving and hadn't had anything for the whole day. Limit the amount of junk food and soda's you have for the week! Only drink small portions of juice each day! Make a lot of healthy foods (add a lot of vegetables in your foods)! And make sure to work out your body and exercise a lot!
~I hope you stick with this diet and loose a pound a day or even more if you want!

Losing a pound a day is a really bad idea, sad to say (and you'll nearly kill yourself trying to do it). A slow, healthy weight loss program is the most effective and easiest to do. Try to burn 200 calories a day and eat 300 calories less than you need to maintain your weight (which adds up to -500 a day). There are 3500 calories in a pound of fat, so you'll lose about a pound a week.
Drink as much water as you can, don't eat after 7 PM, and exercise every day religiously. If you crank up the radio or put your iPod on, you'll love running or walking or biking (whatever you feel up to/enjoy the most).

I want to lose a pound a day for the next 10 days too, so I appreciate where you're coming from. However, that is physiologically impossible for the human body to accomplish, so I have settled for dreaming big dreams and working out and cutting back on junk food. And on Easter Sunday I'll probably have to wear a girdle to suck in my gut.

Look into the web site Scarsdale Medical Diet, I have the book and the 2 week medical diet you can lose 10-14 pounds in 2 weeks, I've tried it, it's hard but it works. Drink alot of water.

you'll never be able to lose 1 lb. a day..
try weekley goals..
but not like 10 lbs a week..
but try this:
eat smaller portions and exercise..
and dont eat so much junk..
try eating healthy for the whole week and have a smalll treat on sunday...
or
lets say you absolutley ADORE ice cream..
one week you eataything but icecream..
then at the end of the week eat a SMALL icecream
then the next week eliminate sodas for example... then have a small cup of soda at the end of the week...
but still eliminate what you ate the week before..
