Last summer I worked for 6 months. Now is tyme to file tax. Instead of getting a w2 form like I was told. My ex boss gave me sumthing like 1040 or 1049. the paper has nothing on it except the amount of money I made from last year. Now my question is can I not file tax return since it is in that form. Because w2 the boss pays half of the tax too right? But the people from tax return told me the form that i had recieved it means that when i was getting paid by check ..my boss didnt file tax. Therefore at the end of the year..the tax return place have to the charge me more because they have to do more work since it is different from w2 form. So does anyone know if I can not file tax this yaer since my ex boss didnt file tax at that tyme

Hope a Constitutional Law maven is reading.

This concept has long bugged me and seems Just Wrong to me.

A corporation is considered a 'person' -- is this not nutty? And more than just nutty, is it not a cause of much of what's wrong with the country and world?

Does it not help people in charge of corporations avoid consequences for their decisions and actions?

What's the logic behind this bizarre notion?

splain me, Lucy.

Did it teach them that the human body is dirty or bad? We all have breasts. What was the big deal?

In synthesis, a symmetrical anhydride is necessary to create one product when you attack with a nucleophile on the carbonyl. e.g. R-C=OOC=OR. But you can only get 50% yield this way b/c you can only use half. Our teacher said that if you use a chloroformate to make something like: RC=OOC=OOR', that it would react with the carbonyl attached to R (not R'). Why won't it react with the carbonyl of the C=OOR' group? Does it have anything to do with the extra O attached?

I'd like to have all the areas of my MySpace profile (ie., comments section, interests, details, etc.) have rounded corners. Here is an example of a site with some rounded corners: http://macapper.com/2007/03/14/how-to-clean-your-black-macbook/

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Green flames, red flames, and blue flames already exist. I think it would be cool to have a midnight black flame burst out of the torch lighter. but I need some help from chemistry majors who have an interest in fire.

If I found out I was going to die in a week's time I would eat a whole cheesecake every freakin day !
I love good solid "REAL" New York style cheesecake.
There is just something about cheesecake that really makes me satisfied even though it has all of the sugar & fat in it. I only have a slice once in awhile.

As a Liberal it is easy to see many flaws in the Conservative mindset. Every time a Conservative spews forth some pathetic self-righteous utterance we as Liberals react. We feel the passion against their drivel deep in our guts, but many times we fail to see the rational evidence against their position. Our thought is based on a belief that there is a definite right and wrong, and we must always do right. Righteousness is based on a belief that regardless of our state it still exists. We cannot justify doing wrong because we do not make the rules, and if we were to die tomorrow right would still be right. A defining principle of Conservativeism is moral relativism in which right and wrong are defined by an individual’s position in life. Here in lies the problem that we as Liberals face.
