Hey guys,

Did you know that 666 is not actually the number of the beast mentioned in Revelations? It turns out, there was a translation error, either intentional or accidental, somewhere along the lines. The actual number, as shown in the earliest existing copy , the Oxyrhynchus Papyri (see here http://www.csad.ox.ac.uk/POxy/beast616.htm ) assigns the number 616 as the number.

Just how many more Satan related mistranslations are going to be found in the Bible? First it was the whole KJV "Lucifer"/"Likening to the Morning Star" (King Nebuchadrezzar II) thing, now this vital numeracy error?

I have an Evo N800C laptop. A few days ago i noticed a slight red shade in the bottom left hand of the screen, which doesn't go away. when i don't use my laptop for a few mins the screen goes red. When i move the move to wake my laptop up the screen goes normal, apart form the red shade in the corner.
Why is this happening?. What could cause it? is there anything i can do to get rid of the red shade and stop my screen from going red? Thanks in advance

My husband works third shift (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and I'll be going back to working days (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) starting April 2. We shifted our schedules this way so we could avoid needing daycare. However, we're realizing that my husband may not get much, if any, sleep during the day and, at night, I won't be home until 5:30 - he'd only be able to count on about 4 hours of sleep before he'd have to get up and get ready for work. My parents have passed away and I have no other family on my side. My husband's dad and step-mom live locally, but they both have jobs and can't help out with daycare during the week. His mom and step-dad, and the rest of his side of the family, lives out of state.

Has anyone else been in this situation? How did you and your spouse/partner handle it? Did you end up having to use daycare after all?

I started taking 500mg Cipro 2x daily yesterday, so it has not been 48 hours yet.
Fever gone, but the throbbing ear pain has turned into a sometimes sudden stabbing pain, & more popping.
I take that as the fluid moving, but when will it clear up so I can hear clearly again?
Should I take a decongestant in addition to absorb it more?

I am old fashioned and believe a person should make it on their own. Of course, the 2 college kids would stay on our insurance and there would be help for groceries, etc. , (and we'd never be too far away to rescue them in the event of an emergency) but as far as financially, I say it's up to them. My spouse would be happy taking care of them forever, but I think our money should be spent preparing for our future, so we don't become burdens to them at some point in our lives. This issue could be a deal breaker, so some insight would help.

just got married 1 month ago. before wedding ..he was the best guy..on earth.. n after wedding ..u end up getting abused with words, beaten, chased out of home etc. but next day he calls and says sorry. and sorry been accepted for the 4th time. but eventually same drama starts. why ppl change?why ppl don't know how to live happy? its such a waste.. married only 1 month.. n going thru mental stress. but I will never leave him.. because I love him too much.

ok so basically my maids HATE me....i dont know what to do. the older one is such a ***** to me and she bosses me around and totally disrespects me. when my dad is around shes cool but when hes not, which can be for weeks at a time, she wont talk to me and like ignores me if i try to talk to her. she also makes up stuff to get me into trouble and doesnt treat my stuff very well, its so annoying. the youngr one is cool but just follows what the other one says. i try to be nice to her and help her with my half sister and brother, who she treats like royalty but shes a complete ***** to me!!

My dad's 2007 Subara got hit in the parking lot. He did not know who did it, called the police, and got a report. Damage was estimated at around $2000 by the officer in the report. His insurance company will send someone to estimate the car and issue a check to fix it. The question is if he goes into Subaru dealer and get an estimate, but will not have the car fixed there. Will this void the factory warranty? Because he has a buddy who is a body specialist, and will definitely do a much better job for much less. Thanks much.
