1. JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders love this guy. Lane Kiffin implied he was the front runner after Russell's work out day at LSU.
2. Joe Thomas. The Lions really need a QB but they seem pretty happy with Kitna. Thomas would give them some much needed help on the O-line
3. Brady Quinn. The popular consensus is that the Browns will take Peterson here, but they need some serious help at QB. Frye is obviously not getting the job done.
4. Calvin Johnson. This guy is just too good to pass up for the Bucs. The Bucs could be a surprise team next season. Their offense is shaping up really well and Johnson could be just what they need.
5. Jamaal Anderson. Arizona needs some help defensively. Their secondary looks good but the line needs work. It's a toss-up between Anderson and Adams but I think Anderson is the better choice.
6. Gaines Adams. Washington, like Arizona, needs a lot of help on the D-line. Adams is a great playmaker on defense and I think he will make a big impact immediately.
7. Adrian Peterson. I kind of hate to see Peterson fall this low but his injuries will keep him from being a top five pick. Minnesota needs a good back to trade off with Chester Taylor. Peterson is the perfect compliment.
8. LaRon Landry. They traded with the Texans for a reason and that reason was LaRon Landry.
9. Patrick Willis. Miami needs to replenish their aging defense. It all starts with Willis.
10. Joe Staley. Houston needs some help on the O-line to help protect their new QB. I think Staley is one of the more under-rated players in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if Houston took him here...

I think it's nearly impossible to make an accurate prediction of the draft, especially the top ten. I can say the Raiders pick Jamarcus Russell, and then they pick Calvin Johnson, so the other 9 picks don't pan out as predicted either. For kicks though, this is what I say;
1 Oakland - J. Russell - Raiders love big arms and he has the biggest.
2 Detroit - Joe Thomas - They really need something, starting with a solid lineman to start for 10 years is a good way to rebuild. Don't be surprised if they take C Johnson though, lol.
3 Cleveland - Adrian Peterson. They need an athletic running back that can stay healthy. I don't know why peterson fits the bill, but Cleveland doesn't draft players beside college potential anyway, or so it seems.
4 Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson. If he's available, this is a no brainer.
5 Arizona - Gaines Adams. They continually make lineman choices in the first round, and they tend to bust. Personally I think Gaines Adams is good but I figure this to be a scenario like Simeon Rice about 10 years back.
6 Washington - Paul Posluszny. This guy isn't quite top ten talent, but the Redskins need a young, consistent guy behind their D-Line.
7 Minnesota - Brady Quinn/Leon Hall/Laron Landry. This is my favorite team so I'm a little biased in saying they'll pick Quinn if available, Hall if he is not, and Landry if they are both gone. Good spot for Minn. to find Best Player Available.
8 Atlanta (from Houston) - Alan Branch. I don't know if they will use the 3-4 now that Petrino takes over, but I watched a few lousville games and his DE's were usually smaller. I figure he'll play the same type of game in the pros, and small DE's mean BIG DT's.
9 Miami - Levi Brown. They always need O-Line.
10 Houston (from Atlanta) - Ryan Moore. WR reunites with fellow Miami WR Andre Johnson. Oh, and Moore sucks and so has most of the Texans' first picks. JK. I think they'll lean toward DB. Michael Griffin or Aaron Ross. It would be terrible if they pass on ANOTHER longhorn that does outstanding.
This is just a 10-minute prediction, but the way the draft falls is only reliable come draft day.

I see that the first ten will be stuck on loser teams and never get a shot at winning the Super Bowl. How gay!
