Don't put anything on her hair. It's just from laying on her back. Once she starts rolling over and sitting up the bald spot will go away and the hair will grow back in.

You can try putting her on her tummy some throughout the day while she's playing so she can work her muscles.

Don't put anything on the baby's head! At 8 mos your baby should be getting more active, and the bald spot will go away when she starts spending less time on her back.

My daughter has a huge friction bald spot on the back of her head. Its normal, you dont put anything on it unless it looks sore or is pealing/scabbed/etc... If that is the case you can put vasoline or A&D ointment on it, but you dont put anything on it to make it grow back in.
Just try putting her down for naps on her side or tummy more often.

You really shouldn't put anything on her or his head. The reason for the hair loss is because the baby is laying on his back for to long. Lay him or her on his stomach, that will also help the baby digest his food.

That is normal. Don't put anything on it. Try a hat, so that the area isn't sensitive to the sun. Otherwise, looks-wise, it's normal, don't worry about it.

Babies who have bald spots are left alone too often. The balding is from his/her head always resting on something. Pick him/her up once in awhile.
