Ok, I'm gay, I have a friend that means a lot to me, now he's been living with me, we're like best friends, everything was going great with us until about a week ago when he met a girl and she's totally into him and "kinda" vice-versa, I asked him what's going on and because of the fact that he has 2 kids, he considers himself bisexual... and I realllllly don't know what to do or how to react with this whole new situation... he knows i'm against it and his "girl" is starting to dislike me because of it... Help! What to do?

One of my two dogs died 9 days ago and the Papillion that is left is very clingy and sad. I've tried playing and extra attention but she still seems depressed. She is basically an inside dog but we get out regularly. Should I get another dog (which I am not wanting to do just yet) or try for play dates with other dogs? I am missing my other dog as well but have adjusted by keeping busy. She is such a loving dog, very maternal and shows it with the outdoor cats we have. I am wondering if I buried the other dog too quickly before she realized he was actually dead and not coming back. I am humanizing her too much perhaps. Help!

I asked this to my ex-youth leader yesterday, and I thought he gave a really good answer, and I thought it would be interesting to hear other Christian's experiences too...

He said that at the beginning it was more like doing stuff for God, and also asking Him for things, you know - like aiming to do good things, church ministry etc. But now it's more a case of enjoying the relationship, experiencing God's power, realising more of his own faults, and as a result, knowing more of God's grace. He also said that for each person it's different, as God's got individual plans for us, and we're also approaching it from different starting points, so God needs to work on our characters in different ways.

Anyway - I'd love to hear your experiences!... oh yeah - and "Has it been worth it?"
