Unfortunately, there are a lot of kids out there who go to bed at night hungry and we can't really change that. We can't save the world, but we can make small contributions that change a few children's lives. Sponsoring a child is about $30 a month and you feed, clothe, and provide necessities for the child like blankets and others things. You also receive a picture of your child and they write letters to you that you can respond to. Although it doesn't change a whole lot of the problem, there are thousands of people who are in this program and together we are changing this world, one small child at a time.
If you use the website below, it will take you to a wonderful organization that my family has sponsored through for years.

There is two way. Either to follow an exisitng law or create a new law and implement that effectively. Mere donating individually can not make a difference. It is the job of the society or country and thereby of the Govrnment. I support one law very much which is:
1. All the people of the country should give a certain amount of money of their income to the government. People having income less then certain amount will not be forced to give.
2. With that money a seperate department will be established according to the govt. rule. This department will identify the persons who are not getting necessary money to lead a standard life and will distribute this money to them. They can also establish an industry; workers of that industry will also be the woner of the industry.
3. Govt. will select the poor people effectively and they have to come in front of the mass people to describe there progress.
This is the law of Islam called "Jakat system". I like this. This can be a solution.

i actually see this happening in my society before. so wat happen is tat, they'll collect leftovers from bakeries (coz usually they throw away at night, since they want to "ensure freshness") and give it to underprivileged children in e homes and all, since e food can well b eaten. i personally find tat rather inspiring, but it of coz reach only to a limited distance. if u r talkin about to other countries, i guess a common man can always start small, n then move on bigger scale in time to come.
