you are right guys..the worst Hindi channel is AAJ TAK..lemme give an example they show a story by this channel.. i hope Prabhu Chawla is also listening.. Some time back they show a story and by coincidence it happens to be about my neighbours.. that a minor girl charged the head of family with sexual assault... AAJ TAK shows whole story with bending the facts so much that the head of the family and his wife commits suicide on the same night..we all know what was the truth but because of some bad senstional story this channel killed two people and destroyed whole family..And we coldn't do any thing..
Is this what free media means?

Aaj Tak no doubt 'coz:-
1. It gives corny headlines to all it's news items
2. It's got background music that makes my ear ache.
3. It's reporters and anchors are a pain in the ***; they're really bad.

Im writing this answer after scanning a few of the answers and find that the question itself is misunderstood, in that many of them say 'aaj tak'. In my opinion it should be 'Star News' which only the gossip monging youngsters will tune in to listen because they concentrate on sensalising the news.

according to me star news is the worst news channel in India as they make big issue of small -small things happening in India.Even cricketers are not spared.They are responsible for the position of India in the ICC cricket world cup2007.They develop such a lot of pressure on the players that the players especially new comers find it difficult to prove themselves in international level.

AAJ TAK .... most fakology .... they only show what they want to show and not the reallity.
DURDARSHAN is not the worst it is mature news channel you wont see. nautangi in this channel.

In recent times I personally realised Zee news is pro-BJP. No problem. Problem comes when it shows biased news against AAP. I hate it. I like Doordarshan the most.

there will be serials like one with raju srivastav.they show only about the serials,,there will be laughter challenge.nach baliye,jhalak diklaja,
i dont understand y they kept that as news channel
