BS Architecture
I don't know about other colleges/universities but in where I studied, we don't have awards for those who top the class.

There are awards based on overall average performace. (e.g Dean's List, University List, President's List)

There are several different degrees depending on the school, but most of the best programs offer a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree.

As for the class rankings and awards, the top student in the class is the valedictorian. Salutatorian is the second ranking.

At college, you can also earn special honors related to your academic achievements: *** laude, magna *** laude, and the very highest is summa *** laude. The actual gpa for each rank can vary from one school to the next, but it is really an honor to earn these rankings, especially the top two.

Okay, this site is editing out the latin--apparently it looks like a dirty word. . . but what is missing is c u m then laude, which means "with praise" or "with distinction."
