Hey all.. been with my girl for 9 years, well for a few weeks I thought she and this guy were having a "fling" together... she was hiding things, calls, text messages, etc... but I never did find out anything. She assured me nothing was going on and nothing was there. She assured me she is not friends with him and wouldn't talk to him again....

Well I then find out something nasty this guy had done with another girl. I told my girlfriend and it seems like she can't believe it. She thinks I am just "making this up" to see how she would react, or try to get me to have her hate him because I think there's something going on. She tells me she doesn't care if the guy did anything or not.. but yet she still thinks I am lying, which I am not. I didn't make up anything.

Anyway, what do you all think about this? Did my girl and this other guy do anything? What do you think

I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years n we both messed up in the past i've changed but i sometimes think he has'nt. He use to talk to girls but he so say doesn't any more.About a month ago a girl text him...well that was drama. well today she text him he says that its not his fault that she doesn't get the point.He text her back in front of me in told her to stop so....do you think she still writes to him because he still does to??Do you think she will stop texting him?? should i believe what he tells me because its happen before...it seems like he prefers her he tells me he doesn't but thats what i seems like should i believe him???????

... a different religion, or simply a different point of view about spirituality in general? How have you worked things out?

My religion is Spiritism.
My husband's Christian.

He stopped bugging me after our daughter who is 4 years-old saw spirits. She described them differently eveytime.

My friend just found out that her boyfriend lied to her about his age. She's 21 and he said he was 20 but recently he confessed that he's only 19 soon to be 20. She's worried because he should not have lied in the beginning. She wonders what else he has lied about. He told her that he lied because he really liked her and didn't want to be rejected because he was too young. Supposedly he wanted to tell her before but it was the holidays and they had just started dating. She wants to know what she should do. Suggestions

i had a dream not to long ago where i was [this is gross] chopping off a 4 year old's legs and putting them into a box and he was trying to escape but i would'nt let him, and we where at the bottom of a staircase and it was really dark, and he was crying loudly!

anyway i woke up at like 3:00 in the morning, and because i have a 4 yr old brother, i started to cry and i went upstairs to lay with him [he was sleeping] and even today i don't know why i had that dream and it's scary for me to think about it, and i hate going to bed because i can't really control my dreams, i USED TO, but for some reason i can't control what i dream about, and i feel really guilty for something that gruesome, any idea how i can over this, it's making me sick to my stomach

PLEASE NO BAD COMMENTS! i know it's a horrid thing to dream about but i could'nt do anything about it!

My job requires I lift about 30 or so pounds. I'm moving manaquins. Also, I am painting with latex paint and climbing on ladders. Should I ask for a transfer or am I capable to do the job. When I lift it is sometimes heavy...sorta strain...but not terrible.

Who makes more sense ? Here's Brainman Daniel Tammet speaking.

Professor Richard Dawkins is currently giving media interviews for his latest book 'The God Delusion'. In a recent one with the BBC's 'Newsnight' programme, Professor Dawkins made several erroneous comments. He spoke about a religious person's belief in a universe containing a god, whereas Christianity (the religion the professor singles out for criticism) explicitly argues for a God *outside* of the time and space He created. It is like asking where the poet is in his/her poem or to expect an artist to be in his/her own picture. All creation is an act of separation.

Secondly, the professor said that religious people did not give their beliefs much thought. This implies that religion and thoughtfulness cannot go together, something I disagree a great deal with. I came to Christianity only after a very large amount of thought and reasoning. So did and do many other religious people.

The interviewer Jeremy Paxman likewise made a distinction between a 'religious culture' and a 'rational culture' but this is only a false distinction. Religion can be rational - some of the greatest thinkers and scientists throughout history were deeply religious (Sir Isaac Newton for one). It is true that religion asks ultimately for a 'leap of faith', but no leap is possible without first some firm foundation from which to jump.

Again Professor Dawkins erred when he stated that Christianity was an invention of Saint Paul's. Paul taught at a time when many still lived who had been eyewitnesses to Jesus and his original teaching. The early Christian community would not have tolerated the misrepresentation of ideas and beliefs that many among them had themselves been witnesses to.

In the course of the interview Professor Dawkins refers to people with religious beliefs as 'faithheads'. The professor knows better than this. Name-calling is no substitute at all for rational and sincere debate.

For the last 2 years I've battled my ex over my daughter. He doesn't stick to the court ordered vistation. Anything that is ordered in court he thinks is joke. This past month or two has been rough. He's been calling like 50 times aday leaving threatn messages, my daughter is histrical, tonight he called the cops on me. he told them I was abusing my daughter. The cops came didn't find 1 mark on her body. I need him out of her life. He is only do damage to her. I feel I need to take her to therapist for everything but as other things he doesn't pay ordered child support, and I can not afford to take her to a therapist. Can I have his rights terminated or heck even modified would do. Right now he has one weekend a month. I don't know how much lower it can go. But this is emotionally damaging to my daughter and me. I filed papers in san diego, I just filed 2 days ago 2 have the case moved here to where we both live. Can I file an emergancy hearing in fear of my daughters safety?
