We know Jews circumsize, and Muslims., A majority of the USA (thats changing).
Do hindus clip? Does any other religion cut their kids? What about african tribes? Do some?

In the United States, Canada, South Korea, Australia (Australian aboriginals also practiced it before white settlement) and throughout the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Pacific islands circumcision is performed routinely on boys from infancy to adolescence.

Jews and Muslims for religious reasons
Americans for purely cultural (monetary or to be like dad or everyone else) reasons
Phillipinos and some tribal based cultures (mainly in Africa) for reasons of it denoting manhood.

I don't think its only based on religion, for our family it was based on a better hygiene for the males, less prone to getting infections

the reason it's done nowadays is health reasons, unclipped men have a much higher rate of testicular cancer than do men who are circumcised.......
