Hey all.. been with my girl for 9 years, well for a few weeks I thought she and this guy were having a "fling" together... she was hiding things, calls, text messages, etc... but I never did find out anything. She assured me nothing was going on and nothing was there. She assured me she is not friends with him and wouldn't talk to him again....

Well I then find out something nasty this guy had done with another girl. I told my girlfriend and it seems like she can't believe it. She thinks I am just "making this up" to see how she would react, or try to get me to have her hate him because I think there's something going on. She tells me she doesn't care if the guy did anything or not.. but yet she still thinks I am lying, which I am not. I didn't make up anything.

Anyway, what do you all think about this? Did my girl and this other guy do anything? What do you think

Every night she says... "I think your lying.. he wouldn't do that..." Not to mention she is CONSTANTLY defending his actions, over anything.

There is only one answer. You have to show her the proof. If someone told you, have that person tell her. Otherwise, you're out of luck.
And it's as obvious as a brick wall that she cares for this guy in some way. Don't be blind and stupid just because you love her. She is the one hiding things.
Nine years! And she still can't show you any respect?
Unless you REALLY love her, or think you can't do any better, then you need to tell her that if she doesn't believe you, then she can warm his bed instead.

It sort of sounds like, even if what you say is true, that you still don't trust her and want this guy to look bad in her eyes. Best thing, leave it alone.Don't bring up the guy or what he did again. Its a volital subject for both of you.

She doesn't defend him because she slept with him, she defends him because your forcing her to. Believe me, you many not think you are...but you are forcing her to defend him.

If you respect her and care for her feelings she won't look elsewhere.

.she is in love with the other guy and does not dare to tell you so not to hurt you feelings, most people like this when they are going to cheat their love one. she has no guts to tell the truth as the same time she wants to eat the forbidden fruit. Did they do anything together, ask her and she will lie, but it that matter, you are hurt and bleeding in your heart already, 9 years is a long long time to be together and the truth always hurt.

I wouldn't go as far as to say she cheated on you, but she seems to have feelings or attachment to him, best advice would be don't talk about this guy anymore, and become his pal, not best friends, but friendly. Your girl will totally not be able to handle you guys hanging out if she is guilty of something!

hiding something that has been going on with him think about
if she does not care what he did then why is she so upset
