I don't want to put it in a bank (US$235,000). I need some liquidity so no land at this stage. Should I buy gold jewellary or art. I live in Japan and there is some wonderful art for sale here. Should I buy it and sell it when I get back to the West in a few years? I gold going up or down. I have never had excess money before and I can't just have it lying around in my apartment. Al Gore is wrong. Global warming is cyclical. In 70's, people were concerning about global cooling because the temperature was lowering from year to year. Which doesn't make sense since there were pollutants since the industrial revolution. Scientists believe the warming cycle will end and yearly temperatures will start to drop. In addition, the increase in temperature is really diminutive compared to other times in earth's history when the earth was much hotter like during the end of the ice age. It's cyclical. There is no proof that global warming is caused by pollution.
