One thing that's important that you don't hear mentioned often, is to not use overly drying or abrasive washes or scrubs. If you over-dry your skin (with any product containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide), it will react by producing more oil than usual to compensate. The same idea goes for facial scrubs- avoid anything that's too harsh (with the big pieces of 'grit') because it will irritate your face and cause over-production of oil. The ones with 'micro-scrubbers' and mild stuff like that are better because they don't totally assault your face by scratching off skin!
Basically, be gentle, even though you might get frustrated and want to scrub them to death. Gently washing your face with a face cloth should be all you need to exfoliate. ( and I just use soap and water... works better than any acne wash I've used... but we all have different skin types, so this may not work for you).
Good luck :)

Pimples also known as acne are basically disorders of (oil producing) sebaceous glands of the skin. A substance called sebum is produced under the influence of androgen hormone with the onset of adolescence in greater proportion. Bacteria (P. acnes) found on the skin act on the sebum leading to inflammation of the sebaceous gland and causing acne. It may lasts for several years but generally subsides by the age of twenties. Dermatologists are the right person to be consulted who have various modalities of treatment. Benzoyl peroxide lotions and gels are very effective on application. Antibiotics like tetracyclines also improves the condition but only after Drs. advice. Self care of the skin by washing frequently with antiseptic soap or with water mixed with few drops of antiseptic lotions like dettol would greatly decrease the bacteria on the skin. You may also use neem preparations since it has antiseptic properties. Avoid fatty and oily foods. Include yellow fruits in your diet. Take at least an amla a day. Avoid excessive cosmetics that could plug your skin pores. Take plenty of fliud. Do light excersises and have good sleep. Wish you a beautiful pimple free face.

if you have oily skin then you can use creams or gels containing tretinoin, they are available depending upon the amount of tretinoin in them,Retin-A is a very effective cream,it should be applied to the pimples once every day till pimples go away, results will start showing after regular use for 8-12 weeks,if skin irritation occurs within a few days after starting the treatment, then prolong the time interval between the application, for eg apply it every alternate day or after every 2 days, and if irritation persists discontinue, but never use it more than 12 weeks, and if your skin is not oily then use milder creams or consult a skin specialist.I have very oily skin and I have used the cream it is excellent.

You should wash your face atleast three times daily. If you have oily skin, use facewashes in place of soaps. Avoid eating oily, fried stuff.
To help keep pimples at bay, apply a paste of sandalwood, fuller's earth (multani mitti), and turmeric on the affected areas atleast three times a week.
You could also try SAFI, which is an anti-oxidant, and is available at medical stores.

- Exercise and sweat it out. Your sweat will clean out the pores on your face.
- wash with acne facial often if your face is oily. If your face is dry, just wash your face with facial twice a day.

It's very important to see beautifull.
Dont reduce it plzzzzzzzzz.
I just want to say,
'Kaash is chehre pe pimples ke daag hote,"
Chand toh tu hai hi, sitaare bhi sath hote".
