It is probably because the cleanser you are using contains sodium lauryl sulfate which is what gives your cleanser the foaming property. It is a detergent and known irritant for sensitive skin. It is stripping and damaging your skin's ph level. Look for a cleanser that does contain this ingredient and you may also want to steer from fragrance. Look for a hypo-allergenic(fragrance free) product. I hope I have been of some help to you.

Use a moisturizer after cleaning your face.
Your face is too dry because you're using too much of the facial cleanser.
Try lessening the amount of the product that you use.

I wouldn't say that you are allergic to the cleaners unless you are getting irritated, itchy, and/or breakout spots. I would say that you might be using a cleanser that is not suited for your skin type. Make sure you understand your skin type before shopping for skin care products. Try this article for some tips...

Next, make sure you have a good skincare routine...cleanse, tone, exfoliate (BHA or AHA), and moisturize.

I use Arbonne - their products self adjust to all skin types.
Same with the steps that follow. I would have an oily head
and nose and a dry area around the cheeks. Not anymore.
Check and be sure you aren't using anything with a mineral oil to it (it hardens skin not softens) and do follow with a toner and a cream (no mineral oil)!

Use a moisturising bar like Dove, a medicated cleanser like Cetaphil Lotion or a natural cleanser like gram flour (besan) and honey.

Definitely moisturizer. I use either Aveeno or Nutrogena. Works well, my face is practically perfect, and very soft.

make sure to put on moisturizer after washing your face(but use toner before applying moisturizer). :) I'm 110% sure that there will be a big difference. Use a moisturizer that will be compatible to your face :)

Try using Cetaphil cream around your nose area. It is dermatologist recommended. How do I know? My dermatologist recommended it to me. : )
