I have some interstate work colleagues who switched to daylight saving for the first time, with mixed feelings about the change. Where I am, we have had daylight savings for as long as I can remember, and I think its great. I know the farmers dislike it, because it disrupts their schedule. Any other reasons why its disliked/liked?

A guy walks into a bar, sits down next to another guy and immediately notices the guy has a very large Bic cigarette lighter.
The first guy says "Wow, cool lighter...where did you get it?"
The guy replies "A genie from a bottle granted me one wish."
"Great, can I try it?"
"Sure."
The first guy rubs the bottle and the genie appears. "You are granted one wish" says the genie.
The guy says, "I want a million bucks!"
"Done" says the genie and disappears.
A few minutes go by and suddenly the bar door swings open and pouring in come ducks. Thousands and thousands of ducks falling all over each other through the bar door.
"I can't believe this," says the guy who had just placed his wish, "I asked for a million bucks, not a million ducks!"
The second guy then says, "Do you really think I wished for a 12" Bic?"

The clutch only vibrates when slightly pressed. When fully released or pushed in, it does not do this. Also, I can't get into 1st gear, it's as if the stick is locked. It was working fine the last time I drove it.
What can I do? I can't even take the car to the mechanic because I can't get it in gear.
Is this a symptom of clutch wearing out? I thought it would be less dramatic...like clutch slipping a little initially.

murder. At the time the Qur'an was revealed (7th century A.D.), there was no United Nations or Amnesty International to keep the peace or expose injustice. Inter-tribal violence and vengeance was commonplace. As a matter of survival, one must have been willing to defend against aggression from all sides. Nevertheless, the Qur'an repeatedly urges forgiveness and restraint, and warns believers not to "transgress" or become "oppressors." Some examples:
"If anyone slays a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew all people. And if anyone saves a life,it would be as if he saved the life of all people".Qur'an 5:32
"Invite all to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching. And argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious...And if you punish, let your punishment be proportional to the wrong that has been done to you.But if you show patience, that is indeed the best course.Be patient, for your patience is from God.

There hasn't been any beheading in Sarawak since WW2 or so, and the tradition has died although some Iban longhouses still keep skulls.

But there has been a lot of beheadings in Iraq over the last 4 years and they might deserve the title.

What do you think

This isn't mine, but once my Dad (who's usually a really clever bloke - studied at Cambridge, got a PHD, lectured for years and years etc...) woke up to realise that he'd forgotton his name! (He did remember it shortly afterwards!)
