There are too many tertiary institutions in the UK since the Labour govt increased them. Many departments are unable to fill their courses and many are understaffed and of poor quality. It's another case of poor planning by Labour.

Around 120 institutions have degree-awarding powers (ie Universities, University Colleges).

There are many, many, more Further Education Colleges, but these cannot award their own degrees.

i wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head, but if you go to:

they will have a list of all the UK/NI universities and all the courses they do. (look under search)
