I'm an international student in the US from Asia. And I've been here for almost 10 months. We migrated here because of my mom's work for being a teacher. I'm only 16 years old. And I'm presently studying in a community college. I know I can speak english and I can immitate the accent. But my problem is that although I can speak that good I'm having a hard time to mingle to them. Because I'm only 16 and some of my classmates are 18 and over. yeah, I tried, they are so nice that two of my classmae invited me to have lunch with them but when I accepted it they just ignore me while on the table and they just do all the talking without noticing me. I felt that I was being out of place that's why from then on I tend to separate my way. If you're in my case what will u do? should I continue talking and to mingle with them? And without pretending what do you think with an international student like me? do you discriminate them or what? I'm just curious so that I know where to place myself?

Okay we have to write a persuasive essay on why we should have a healthier school lunch. I am clueless on how to do it. We have to write 4 reasons and an example with each one, including an explanation for the example. And then we have to write a reason on why the person I am reading this to (who dosen't agree with me) is wrong. Can anybody give me a heads up or a way to stary off? My proposal and position are "I chose to write about a healthier school lunch, because I feel we should have a healthier school lunch."

I need at least 4 reasons why, and example with the reasons, and an explanation of the examples. I also need a reason why the person I am reading this too is wrong, along with A reason, an example, and an explanation for this example. Can somebody please freaking help me?!

when I was 24 weeks pregnant, I went into preterm labor, and they stopped it with magnesium sulfate, and gave me the steroid shots to benefit her lungs. they sent me home and 5 weeks later my water broke. I was put in the hospital on strict bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. I delivered 5 weeks later. and ever since I've been really sad, that I couldn't really experience all that pregnancy had to offer. I miss being pregnant, having the belly, going out in public to show it off, I miss the kicks, and the hiccups, and the doctor appointments. reading how my baby is developing, hearing the heartbeat, and seeing the ultrasound pictures. I miss it all. especially lately, because it's near my due date, and I have a 6 week old daughter. I love her more than anything, but I just feel like my pregnancy was cut too short. I am glad I have her, but today I should be worrying when she is going to come. and all I was ever able to worry about was how long they'd be able to hold off deliver

In the past year I've become open to who I really am and what I feel which is liberating but also makes one cautious (to how others think/descriminate) even if it's in a bisexual sense.

It's now nearing my first year at University (which I entered straight out of highschool), and I met this great group of friends. One of them, a girl who's 6 years older than me... and in her second last year of University I've become fond of. My last two relationships with males haven't really worked out because I've been attracted to her (though haven't told anyone).

And in the past month, she's questioned why I keep breaking up with bfs but I didn't really answer. She also likes to sometimes play footsies, likes to hold my gaze across a table/room, joke/bug me, and sometimes poke me.

Yet... I dunno... Is this flirting from another gal and if it is... what do I do about it? *afraid to ruin friendship if she's not bi or lesbian*

I always read questions and answers in here saying that girls are just as good, or even better at basketball than guys. My question is, if girls are so good at basketball, then why did they have to make their own league, the WNBA? If they are so talented why can't they play on the same teams and against the men?
