i think you mean ip address.
to find it, use the command prompt
start->programs->accesories->command prompt

in that type 'ipconfig' and hit enter
it will display what you need

Typing SET in a DOS window will give you a lot of information about your PC.

click on the start button, click on run and type in cmd
then hit enter,
type in ipconfig/all

the physical address is your unique host address or commonally called your MAC address
In XP you can also from the command prompt type in
getmac
