My low mileage (46K) Jaguar V12 suddenly stopped changing up from 1st gear (it's an automatic - I think a GM300 box as used in Cadilacs of the time). Can anyone suggest why this might be? athe auto-transmission fluid level is fine. I'm very worried about it as the car is much bigger than my wallet, if you know what I mean !

I'm not sure if it could be related but it stopped changing gear after I opened the bonet and flexed a rubber bellows thing at the top of the engine, and also manually clicked a micro-switch which is attached to the throttle cable, again at the top of the engine. Slapped wrist for tampering!

PLEASE HELP !!!!!!V!!!!!!

I've liked this guy since the 8th grade. Now that we are in high school I dont see him since we go to different schools. He came with me to my Winter Formal, he told me that he had a great time, and now my best friend is convinced that he likes me. My friends are telling me to call him, but we havent talked in a few weeks, would it be really odd if i randomly called him?

I was born into poverty and raised in various institutions. Disfuntional uneducated parents did not help matters. No food stanps and absolutely no free breakfast or lunches at school. Often I went to school hungry and stayed that way throughout the day. Fortunately,I have managed to overcome with constant struggle and determination. I have never received any government assistance of any kind. Now as an adult (senior citizen) I am told that as a white person I, along with the white race should apologize to the black race? How ridiculous! Should they not thank the tax payers of America for the many social programs granted to them simply because they are in a minority? Apologize? Apologize? The loneliness, hunger and feelings of inferiority I went through because of the ignorance of generations past! And now there are those who would want me to apologize to another race of people for what that ignorance caused? Maybe that suggestion is the ignorance of this generation.

You would have to......
For each dog you test, record the age, gender, and results for the following tests of paw preference. Have the dog sit for you.
Extend a hand and give the command "shake" or "shake a paw."
Record which paw the dog places on your hand.
Take a short break, allowing the dog to get up and move around.
Have the dog sit for you again and repeat the test. Do at least three tests with your right hand and at least three tests with your left hand.
Does the dog always respond with the same paw? Does it matter which hand you offer to the dog?
Place a treat (or toy) inside a tube large enough for the dog's paw, but too small for its mouth.
Show the dog the treat, then place the tube down in front of the dog.
Observe the dog's behavior. If he tries to extract the treat from the tube, which paw does it use?
As an alternative to placing a treat in a tube, you can put it underneath a piece of furniture, where it can only be retrieved by the dog with his hand.

There is this girl that used to sit up the front of the class but now she sits right next to me and even takes my seat sometimes.everytime she sees me in the hallway she shouts out my name and then im stuck with her for the day. when i try to leeave she always says now i have nobody to walk with. I have a 16 month old Boston and a 4 year old Manx Cat that both watch TV. The Boston comes running whenever he hears the theme for Planets Funniest Animals. The Manx will glue himself to the tube if there are any birds on the screen. My female Pom, on the other hand, is oblivious.
