You should probably go and save the call from a day when you are really sick. I kniw how you feel though. I used to work at a drug store and we had to do the same thing. I used to call in a lot (and said I was "sick"). But when the day came when I was REALLY sick, they were angry at me on the phone.

Save yourself the embarressment and go, you'll be happy when you get home tonight.

There will be a lot of days in your working life that you don't feel like going in. Do it anyway. If you can't even drag yourself to work at and entry level job what chance have you got of ever doing any better? We all have to things we don't want/feel like doing.... its called being an adult. Time to get started with that.

tell them you are suffering from explosive diarrhoea this will persuade them to let you take the time off as if you had such a condition you would only be making the cleaning up harder for everyone by projectile pooing everywhere

Tell them you're being held hostage in your house and your captors are demanding 4 cans of beer, Pringles crisps and a decent DVD of your choice and they will let you go tomorrow!

You never know it might fool them!
