I work within th elocal government which is really good but i have just had my eyes tested and they the optition said i am really short sightened i couldn't read the second line on that letter test they do. Anyway because i work in an office and forever use a computer i thought i would be entitled to be reinbursed for at least the cost of the eye test. I eneded up spending £118.50 for a pair of glasses and my eye test. But i thought they would of wanted to help me with my college course and help in that way as they pay for college and if i fail my tests next month they will be paying for them, so you would have thought they would contribute towards my eye test.

As i know have no money for food or electric if we run out and my partner is in his overdraft already i paid £72 towards my exam fees this month on to of my eye test. Am i entitled to help from work as i cant get help from the NHS at all.

Please could you let me know what you think as everyone else from my college course

Is it okay to put a betta fish in a jar for maybe two hours or so while I clean its tank, put the plants in, and let the water sit? I have some aged water, but not enough for both tanks. (We had to separate them because they wouldn't stop fighting through the divider.) I might be able to age some more, but I think I used the only pitcher we have, and we have no bottled water.

I want to stay in Benaulim, but have been told that most of it shuts down and the beach shacks dissapear. Is this true? I thought once the monsoon had started, it cooled down just a little bit (Mid June onwards)....Would you advise visiting at this time? I would also like to stay in Palolem...are there places still open? Is the heat really that unbearable?

I'm a photographer and have just started an online magazine. certain friends are saying it's a waste of time but I figured work at it six months and if it's sucessful, get an amazing website built and advertise on it for income. it's a lifestyle magazine aimed at men and women 14 upwards. music interviews and reviews, artists, articles, promotion for people who don't get promoted. it's called shoot life magazine on myspace. the first issue was released last month and it's a tad messy because I got let down by a lot of people and it's a bit rushed but is it worth putting this much energy into something that I know has a very low chance of suceeding? opinions please.

My husband and I met at a bar. Once we got married we stopped going though. We have been married over 4 years and I have to admit, there are times when I would really like to get dressed up and go to the bar like I used to. We're country folks, so we used to go to country /western bars. It was just a bunch of people hanging out and having a good time. I feel like I am in a rut sometimes, because I never go out, not with my husband or with girlfriends. I wear scrubs everyday to work, so there isn't a reason to get really dressed up like I used to, and I have begun to feel very frumpy and unattractive. I don't care if my husband goes with me, but I would really like to get dressed up and go out to the bar occasionally. Is it wrong for married people to want to do that?
