I don't think you should make a big deal out of it. If you feel like you MUST say something to him, maybe you could just ask him why he wanted to do that. Please phrase the question carefully so that it doesn't sound judgemental or accusatory. If he doesn't want to talk about it, let it drop, because it is probably nothing. Twelve-year-olds are just curious.

Also, it's probably a good idea if you have his dad or father figure talk to him as well.

You can teach him and talk to him, but it's his dad who his going to idolize

You, or a father figure need to talk to him and tell him this isn't right. Still being young, it probably doesn't mean anything at this point. So, it is probably a good time to let him know to stop it.

Tear his tail up and get him some male influence quick.Does he have a daddy/a grandpa?uncle?Take him to church too, get him into counseling, and not one of those quack counselors who will tell him its normal and ok for him to do this either.

set him down and talk to him.if he was just playing around.......then think nothing of it. but if you can find out if he is having feelings that are different than the rest of us.....(homosexuality) seek professional help.

I think he may be gay. Try to interest him in a career as a lumberjack or oil rig roughneck. There may still be time.
