Why is it that black people can insult with racial slurs such as cracker, honkey, or q-tip, but if I insult a black man it is considered racist?

Also why do SOME black folks still fall back on the slavery card? I could understand it in the 60s' but shouldn't the ultimate display of equality be indifference towards one another?

(I mean a white guy winning a gold medal be celebrated the same as a black man or a woman winning the same medal, where their race or gender is not part of the celebration. Not because it is wrong, but because race and gender do not matter when it comes to ability to perform.)

We are making a short film,kind of home production.We are a group of 4 girls & 1 guy.The story has 4 male characters and 1 female character.My freind suggested that in that case let the guy play the female role and we girls wd play the 4 guy roles.
Is this a good idea?
If yes,shd he wear regular day clothes like skirt or salvar kamez or jeans...or shd we go all out and dress him real girlie in a saree with jew and make up?

I recently did something that made me feel elated. It reminded me of what it was like to be in love and to feel love back. However, it meant that I was disloyal to my partner. I never thought I would do something like that. But the positive emotion that I had made it 'feel' right. Perhaps I was using the feeling as an excuse, or do I have the right to feel this way to live fully?

especially if the two of you planned to marry in the future. both sides of the families like each other and said that the two of you made a beautiful couple. I
have not seen the guy in 2 weeks because i caught him with another female. he really disrespected me and hurt me. granted we were not officially together, but we would see each and spend time with each other. he lead me to believe that he wanted to start our relationship over. but then this happend, and now i dont want anything to do with him. i do love him and still care about him and i keep thinking about the situation and it makes me sick, i am sad most of the time. i dont want to continue with my job, i know that is a foolish thing to say, i am just unhappy right now.

...and i don't just mean that you have read the 9/11 commision report, NIST, and FEMA report (gov't agencies).

I know this question will get the usual "conspiracy nut" and/or "tin foil hat" response. But i just want to know how many of you have researched a reasonable amount before you concluded what you have concluded.

Have you looked into alternative theories to 911?

My fiance died Dec. 26, 2006 and tonight I have been getting what seems like a million phone calls one right after the next. At first I answered and no answer than I called back and it said it was disconnected. I wasn't really sure where to ask the question, but I was hoping I would be able to get decent answers here.

Anyway, I'm a girl...look like one completely, too. I don't mean to sound like I'm boasting, but people say that I was meant to be a girl, etc.

But then, I don't feel comfortable wearing women's clothes...they're too revealing. So I like to wear guy's clothes...like a polo shirt, that comes to the elbow, and made of thicker fabric, while the women's are made of thinner fabric that's kind of see through, and has shorter sleeves.

People think I'm cross-dressing/transvestite (is that a right term when girl cross-dresses?), and that I'm homosexual. I don't find it offending. It's just that I'm attracted to neither of the sex. It's not like I want to be a guy, because I'm glad I'm a girl. Plus, it's not like I wear guys clothes all the time. I don't like clothes that hug your body too much.

Am I weird? I have mixed feelings...please give me your thoughts!
