I keep getting phone calls and when I call back it says the phone is disconnected.?

My fiance died Dec. 26, 2006 and tonight I have been getting what seems like a million phone calls one right after the next. At first I answered and no answer than I called back and it said it was disconnected. I know I'm not going crazy because my sister and my mother saw it on my caller I.D. any suggestions to what I should do?

I would like to add that I am not saying that my dead fiance is calling me I'm just wondering how a disconnected cell phone could call someone.

this phone was subsribed into his name and was disconnected when he was found dead. since than it hasn't been active.

Geez... that sounds eerie ! But lets think the logical way.. u should check with the phone company which the phone was previously subscribe to.

I believe they will be able to trace what's going on, it could be some hacker.. making use of the line to prank call you..

Because i could not think of any other explainations... i have never get calls like these.. and hopefully i don't!

So let's not scare ourselves silly... call the phone company and check with them.. :)

** The phone LINE had been disconnected and had not been active which i understand.. but like you said.. the phone itself could not have made calls out since is not active anymore. But like i said.. hackers can hack the phone LINE becos the mobile number can still be trace even though no longer in use, :) ..So you should check with the phone company :) **
