I have been grooming dogs for 4 years. Today, I groomed a dog named Scooter, a Lhasa Apso. In the past, I tried to reach into the cage to pick him up before he was set to go home. I knew he was cage shy because he started smiling at me. So I got a temporary lead to put around his neck and I had a scare. He tried to bite my hand off. When I succeeded in pulling him out with the lead, he attacked again, missing my hand by inches. I was sad and upset at the same time.

Today, I groomed Scooter with no problem. The only thing different was that I didn't put him in the cage...I groomed him straight through. Scooter was a perfect dog and didn't bite me at all.

What was up with that?

For future reference, please give me an answer in how to take out a cage shy dog. Thanks!

Can someone tell me why we cannot follow the laws of immigration? Why can illegals have more rights and why do we support the birth of their children, provide them with food stamps, and now consider them for social security that they have not helped to fund? The terrorist have only to stand by and watch us implode! There is something wrong with the picture of us paying more taxes to build schools because the illegals are taking over. As long as we pay for them to have children they will keep having them. Cut off the benefits! Our elderly can't even get the benefits that illegals have! Our congress is so out of touch with what is happening and so afraid of hurting someone's feelings that they won't even enforce the laws that are already established for this invasion, not to mention that they want the Hispanic vote in the next election. This situation is appalling and makes no sense. How can we possibly keep terrorist out when we can't even keep illegals out?

I am on a visit visa. One company has obtained an employment visa for me. I do not want to continue with them. I have not yet done my medical and other formalities. Though they have obtained employment visa for me, is there any problem for me to obtain employment visa from other Company in UAE. Please advise.

Every year, they come up a different speech problem that they want to work on for the year. The next year, he always makes adequate progress in that area but they always "discover" a new speech problem a couple of weeks before his yearly review. Now, they claim he can't say "v" words although he says them perfectly fine at home and they've never noticed it in 4 years of speech therapy. Also, he supposedly has a problem with his "s" cluster words. He says them fine for me until I get out his speech homework. He starts to say them right, then "corrects" himself and it changes to a "lateral distortion lisp". He claims that is how his speech therapist is teaching him.
My mother has a theory that once they have you in special ed, they try to keep you there because of the additional funding they receive. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I keep getting emails from different people claiming to be someone who is notifying me that I won a large amount of money through a sweepsteak. One was from some yahoo lottery. Another claimed to be from Coca Cola and a few others. All ending up having come from the United Kingdom. Having gone through a similar one about a year ago where they sent me a partial payment they wanted me to cash and then deposit into my checking account and get back to them for more details on getting the rest. Knowing that was a scam I figure anything coming from the UK might be from the same people and I wonder why they keep getting away with this. It was on the news when I received my first one that these people ripped off an old couple. Would really like to know how or to whom I can report this.

It seems ever since i started highlighting my hair it started back in November. It seems to have just gotten worse. I have tried Neutrogena T gel and head and shoulders...Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil Deep conditioner, cholesterol, hot oil you name it..i have tried to brush scalp to remove excess skin. Usually my boyfriend and I get along really well. But then out of nowhere he'll start giving me one word responses and snap at me. This has happened ever since we started dating, but more frequently lately. He'll just leave the room or sit there and not talk. I try asking him what's wrong but he won't tell me anything. It happened while we were out to lunch today. We were having a good time. Then he all of a sudden didn't want to talk anymore and was just like "fine, whatever" to everything I said, in a really mean voice. So we came back home. I told him that I feel like I always upset him somehow and because of that I feel like a bad gf. He wouldn't say anything to that so then I started crying (like always do in this situation, I don't know what else to do) So then he got to leave. Then he basically said he wasn't mad until I started crying. But what else am I supposed to do? I feel like I'm walking on eggshells around him.
