I loose weight and get in shape the get back into the cycle of eating, stop exercising and gaining weight again. I just don't know how I can break this cycle. Other than the if u want it u can really do it.

I know this sounds corny, but you may want to read Dr. Phil's book "The Ultimate Weight Solution" It wasn't for me, because it is geared toward more emotional eaters. But you may find some mind stimulator's in there to help you deal with your emotions.

It's very hard to break old habits. I had a similar challenge, & found that by eating things like unsalted pretzels , & sugar free jello, I could eat something to satisfy the oral desire & not gain too many calories in the process.

Tryong to be disciplined & start exercising, or go for a walk when you feel bummed or stressed is another solution I have found helpful

I am the same way, nothing helps after a long stressed filled day with some good old hamburgers and steaks. i tend to overeat at some points of my life because of my stress. The way i look at it is that i could be hooked on drugs instead of food so its not so bad after all.

You should try to exercise to make you more happy and less stressful that way you dont eat when your bored and only when your hungry! if that happens again then try sleeping it off or doing another hobbie and drinking lots of liguids that you like to drink!
