An acquaintance of mine allows her partner to drive her around even though he doesn't have a full licence, I'm not sure he even has a provisional. Is she committing an offense, and would she get 'done' instead of him for any offence he commits ie speeding?

I have a good friend (she's 25, I'm 22) - we have been good friends for the past 3 years.

Last spring, she filed for a divorce from her husband of 2 years, and it was finalzied this past October. However, in April of last year, leading up to her asking her busband for a divorce, she admitted to me that she had had feelings for me that went beyond those of just a friend, but she couldn't act on them because she was still married.

I had feelings for her as well, but haven't told her all this time.

To make a long story short, a moved away for 4 months from Sept. to December to attend a University, and I have recently moved back home to re-attend the community college we both go to.

However, she has been with a couple of guys during that time, and now has one that she swears is just "Great" in so many ways. I still haven't let her know my feelings for her. Should I tell her, or just move on with my life?

I have had 2 back surgerys, discsectomy and spinal fushion, I still have severe low back pain, and the pain goes down my leg often. i have suffered with this for over 8 long years now. I see my doctor, and he gives me vicodin ES, and soma. but these medications no longer work for me. I have never abused my medications, however, I am reluctant to tell my doctor, because doctors often think you just want stronger medication. ive been to pain clinics, and have had epiderals, and have been to physical therapy, all have had no effect on my pain whatsoever. in fact, they made it worse for me. I am totally at my wits end, on what to do next. My doctor tells me I will be in pain for the rest of my life. So is there anybody out there that could advise me on what my next course sould be? I dont mind being on medication, and I dont want any further surgery on my back. (not yet, becides, theres no guarentee of that doing anything) I cant seem to find any relief, and I need help.thanks

Well i'm 19 (Male) now and for the past 3-4 years i've not realised how skinny i really am mainly because i slouch but when i hold my chest out Its quite shocking... I suffered from ME so was doing nothing alot for those years. atm i'm 5'6" and i weigh 8st 9lbs...I used to weigh 9st 5lbs minimum when i was 15 and it's had effects on my appearance totally.
I eat random amounts of food daily, sometimes ill eat loads and sometimes i'll eat 1 main meal a day and 3-5 snacks. I drink alot of Fizzy drinks aswell. I'm thinking about going to a nutritionist cause im not happy anymore infact im getting down cause i look so hidious.

Any ideas how to gain fat and muscle rapidly?

Is it not the case of the ostrich burying its head in the sand? It's one thing to preach that "I believe in non-discrimination on basis of colour or creed" but when it comes to practice, how many of us actually live up to the stated ideal. When was the last time you did not listen to a racist joke/innuendo made by a close friend/acquaintance without reprimanding him/her straightaway that you do not "enjoy this sort of prejudiced action"?

Much of the racism and prejudice is in peoples' ,MINDS and this disease has to be fought at a political, ideological and spiritual level. As long as there is this tendency of "denial" - little progress is to be achieved. Why is that few people believe in empathetically addressing the issue from the perspective of the victim? What prevents your moral conscience from understanding the true nature of the grievance that a person might have?

Is it not that the UK didn't have a US-style civil rights movement that the issue is being swept under the rug

Does anybody know what are the ingredients that supposedly are used by women to make a man fall in love with her in Jamaica? I heard the story , but they didn't want to say what's in it. Supposdly Jamaican men won't eat a woman's cooking until he knows her well for fear to be served this. It is suppossed to be disgusting.
