Here's a big surprise: You could go to Vegas!... for a weekend.

Since it's assumed that when people go there they spend a lot of money gambling it's actually pretty cheap to fly. You could find a flight for $100 most likely. I live on the east coast and even I can find a flight for that. Often times you have to look in the weekend specials or last minute deals on sites like cheaptickets.com, but these deals are out there.

Hotels are from $60/night. Try the Knights Inn Las Vegas. They offer free shuttle service to the hotel and the strip and are only $60/night. So 2 nights would be $120 (with tax 139.89), plus $100 for the flight. After taxes you'll still have at least $50 to get a few drinks and cheap food. You don't have to spend a lot of money. Go in a casino and stand near a table and they give out free drinks. There are tons people to meet and lots of fun to have. Arrive friday morning and head back sunday night. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

& by the way.. These prices are assuming you went alone. If a friend came with you and you two shared a room, you'd over over $100 cash on hand.

And remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! ;-)

that really depends on where you live because honestly 300 doesn't get you very far. you should look around and see if there are any concerts coming up that you would enjoy. Or visit local attractions. I am a home person to be honest with my time off I usually begin a new project that i can always pull out in the future when money is low or the weather just won't cooperate. Such projects could be arts and crafts, a small remodeling or redecorating job, or just a new book. This way you can feel like you've accomplished something an haven't wasted your money.
