Just wondering what people thought of the government scheme to microchip people. Would you mind having a small implant under your skin so you never got lost and they could easily identify you when you had to go to the docs? Or even better... you'd never need to carry any money or documents with you.

Or... is it a complete infringement on your rights as a human being?

We don't have a huge budget to work with and we'd like to drop the kids off at Grandma's and split for a long weekend. We live in south-eastern PA and are within a few hrs. driving distance to Philly, Baltimore, DC, New York, Atlantic City (but I don't like to gamble!) Anyone from any of those areas give me some ideas for a wonderfully fun and romantic weekend that won't make us remortgage our house???

I'm ugly...and everyone hates me for this(even my own brother and my stupid cousins)
a lot of girls turned me down...now I don't feel emotionally attracted to them just physically.the only thing I like is that I'm going to become a dentist and I have lots of money I made from stocks.
now all I want is to become rich and successful and buy a big house, buy a hot wife and a nice car....etc
so I can throw it in the faces of the people who always mocked me .

I of course had to phrase this like a question but, for those who are interested. He has had his spleen removed one kidney is now working slightly. They basically had to remove his ribcage-rebuild it then put it back in. He is breathing on a ventilator and they have a bone Doc coming in to look at the crushed foot(they are keeping an antibiotic gel pack thing in it for infection because the bones came right out through the skin), crushed wrist-hand, and broken shoulder. He is now gone from critical to serious though so it looks like he may survive and I thank you all for your prayers and---kind thoughts.

Just wanted to see if anyone can help with whether I have the right answers to these questions or not.

1) If the arteries are hardened resulting in blood reaching the capillaries at higher hydrostatic pressure, what effect wold this haveon the overall loss of fluid from the capillaries?

The overall loss of fluid would decrease as the fluid would be moving so fast that the fluid would have less time to pass out.

2) If the vein receiving blood frm a particular capillary was compressed (or partially blocked by a tumour) resulting in raising of the hydrostatic pressure at the venous end of the capillary, how would this effect the overall uptake of fluid by the capillary?

The overall uptake would increase as the fluid moving in the capillary would be moving slow enough that fluid could get back into the capillary.

Thanks in advance!

I guess all these goalies were pretty crappy eh? PatrickRoy,Grant Fuhr,Ron Hextall,John Vanbiesbrouck,
Pelle Lindbergh,Tom Barrasso,Pete Peeters,Billy Smith,Andy Moog,Mike Vernon among others, here's something to think about you can take all of the "great goalies" playing today and put them into an "80's" era hockey game playing against the likes of Lemieux, Gretzky, Kurri,Coffey, Anderson, Bossy, Messier, Neely, Hull, and many many others and these "great goalies" with their wonderful stats would see their gaa rise and their save pctg drop, so again what is the problem with the 80's era goalies?

What is the process to make it go back to the original color?

I have bra strap length hair with layers, medium thin hair. It still has decent elasticity minus the split ends which are due for a trim. I have been dyeing it for 2 and 1/2 years and I am sick of having to dye my hair every month just to keep it from turning orange. Please help
I am going to Cactus Salon, but am trying to get a general idea of what they will have to do to my hair and what the step by step process is.

Okay I heard this on the t.v. the other day and I was wondering, why should man be afraid of god whenever god is supposed to be someone we love and trust? Why do we need fear? Is he an abusive father who only loves you whenever you do his bidding? And why should someone be a "God-fearing man"?
