Well, when ever your ready really. If you wait until after college, then you could focus on your studies, but you probably don't want to wait that long. For really anyone 16-20 is a good age. You just have to make sure that having a girlfriend or boyfriend doesn't control your life! Like with studies, or friends. And make sure you acctually like the girl/boy that you are dating and not leading them on! Its really your decision. And when you make your choice for when YOU start dating, make sure you go over it with your parents also. But that is one of the most important things, ask your parents when they think you should start dating. You might hate their decision but take them serious! You'll thank them later on.

Honey right now you need to just concentrate on school. If you start dating now your going to wind up with so many problems. You dont want to get involved with someone and then wind up getting sexual so young. A tip to you, I'm almost 18 and haven't ever gone around dating. I didnt go around looking for love, I just well.. Let love come to me and it did. and now my boyfriend and I are going on a year and are planning to marry. Because we didnt go around dating we dont have any unwanted children, no STDs or emotional baggage. Your future wife/husband deserves the best. Wait for them! I'm so happy that thats what I've been doing. I'm going to be able to give myself to my husband totaly untouched by another man and I think that is the best gift anyone can give to their future spouse. Good luck!

In about 4 years when you are better able to handle the ups and downs of dating. It sucks!

When u are 13, you should hang with the other gender at school like a couple. But you shouldnt acctualy go out out,like on dates until you are like 15 or something.

16. You're not mature enough to date until then. You're only a kid for a short time and you get to be an adult for the rest of your life (and believe me, it gets old). Don't waste your childhood trying to do grown-up things. Have fun!

Date people when you are sexually attracted to them, though you should control your emotions and enjoy being a kid. Don't try to grow up too fast - if you do, people give you this hideous, horrible torture known as "responsibility".
