Just wondering what people thought of the government scheme to microchip people. Would you mind having a small implant under your skin so you never got lost and they could easily identify you when you had to go to the docs? Or even better... you'd never need to carry any money or documents with you.

Or... is it a complete infringement on your rights as a human being?

Oh what a lovely picture you paint, but it wouldn't be like that.
You would have no privacy whatsoever. The could identify everyone you spoke to, literally follow your every move, even in the bathroom or bedroom.

You could be watched where ever you went, could be fined for speeding, no matter that it's two in the morning and not a car in sight.

They would control us and be our masters, which they are not, for we are theirs and it is they who serve us, not vise versa.

Your Insurance company would know every detail of your medical history, and your bank balance.

I personally would jail any politician who even proposed such a system, they are unfit to live in a free democratic society

SAY NO TO MICROCHIPS!!! Implanting a micro chip means that the satellite always knows exactly where you are. If yo meet another micochipped person the satellites knows all about it and when you met the other micochipped person. This is a real threat to civil liberties, such as the freedom to peacefully assemble. Political dissidents may be of particular interest!!!! The potential here is effectively keep tabs on the whereabouts of everybody all the time, and to know who they associate with 24 hours a day!!!!

As to the idea of preventing getting lost, I find that maps work quite well!!!! If you are concerned about medical data being immediately available, there are other systems available to retrieve the information. If you live in an are where people tend to know each other you will be recognized. Photo I.D.s and Photo Driving Licenses work quite well too!!!!

NO MICROCHIPS NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!

Micro chipping humans is The Ultimate infringment on any society.
The BIG BROTHER and NEW WORLD ORDER would rank the chips as the best and only way to totally subjugate the population od the world. The next best thing to a ROBOT. The chips would be for ID. What else would they contain? Location? Your history? A program of your allowed activities? How about privacy? What goes on in the bedroom ...stays there? your kidding ? 2 chips interfacing? I thought that Texas family that was chipped didn't think the whole situation through before the did it. This could be the end of mankind as we know it. It's scarry!!!! For all we know children born in a hospital could have these implanted without the knowledge of the parents. Sorry. I want to be and stay an indevidual...my own man, my own choice.

it truly is only a microchip they put on your ARM (no longer your mind) that incorporates an on the spot experiment of all of your medical options in case of an emergency. at the same time as it may music your region, it has no longer something to do with zombies. Its no longer a stupid conspiracy concept although, i'm positive that someplace contained in the destiny someone might want to attempt to make a extra more suitable microchip as some variety of alternative for an identity. in case you get in hardship with the police, merely experiment and also you're said.

My thoughts are....no way. I see it as, not only an infringement of my rights and privacy but also as the beginnings of the "mark of the beast". As a Christian I have very serious issues with this chip because of the mark. I would die before I would ever accept such a chip.

I'm not exactly fond of the idea of microchips in my body. Firstly, the idea of invasion of my privacy is repellent. I don't like the idea that people could tell if I'm out, in, or even taking a shower, simply by scanning for me.

Considering that there will always be people out there who abuse technology, I'm not sure we should allow our personal lives to be looked into with that kind of ease...

I would volunteer for such a system if I received benefits from it, and if I had full disclosure of the technology that is going into my body. Those are the only circumstances where I would allow this to happen. In general though, it should be up to the individual to decide whether or not they want this augmentation.

I like the idea for health reasons. Quick and easy access to your medical records for blood type, allergies, deseases, etc.

I am not too keen on the idea that it can track me (like an animal) or having easy access to financial information. I can see an epademic of roberies to steal microchips - by any means nessessary.

Crazy ...........

We all have DNA which is already being abused by the police so I'm not sure a chip would add anything.

Maybe if it went in my shoulder it would balance me out though...

What if you took these microchips and ate them like vitamins. One a day, then if you felt like not having it, you would simply stop taking them. To me it sounds like it would have benifits, but I would NEVER do it.
