I do know that a HUMAN pregnancy test is testing for levels of HUMAN chorionic growth hormone but it's only called that because we gave the hormone its name. The dog pregnancy hormone maybe exactly the same as the human one?

The reason I'm asking Yahoo-help-ers is that Maisie (the dog) has had a phantom pregnancy before, and she is exhibiting the same symptoms as before - secretions from some of her nipples, ferocious appetite, ferocious, generally what I can only describe as PMT ish, digging holes and burying food.

She was in season at Christmastime and went missing one evening for a couple of hours............
But if the dirty deed was done then she would be having pups by now as I thought gestation was about 2 months. The problem I have this time is that I am now unemployed just starting my own business - I love her to bits but any sort of lab test at the moment would cripple me. So my idea was to try Boots et al pregnancy test. Please no Smart Arses. Thank you .

I have this problem...where a strip of copper is weighed then suspended in a test tube constaining idodine vapor generated by heating solid iodine. a white compound forms and uniformily coats the strip of copper then the compound + copper is weighed. Then it is washed off completely dried and weighed.
Data: mass of clean copper strip 1.2789g
mass of copper strip and compound 1.2748g

ok so here is my dilema so how would i determine # of moles of the iodine that reacted. I assume i take the difference of the clean Strip and divide by the molecular mass of product that should have formed i know it is copper iodide but is it CuI2 (2 is subscript) CuI and then i guess You figure out #moles of copper by the ratio? between Cu and I or I2 (i know its diatomic in beging but is it Copper (2) iodide or Copper iodide... then how would i figure out the emirical formula since its just the simplest ratio?

that they are infertile? i have been with my boyfriend for over 3 years. at 16 he got me pregnant and becuase i was so young and wanted to live my life first i had an abortion. I have regreted it every day since. I found out last week that my boyfriend has been cheating on me and i have chalmydia, ghonorea and herpes. It has gone so long undeteced that i am now infertile. the reason for life is to have children. i want to die, i really dont see the point in living. This is Gods punishment for me after killing my unborn baby. I was stupid. I am in a really good uni and i am a good looking girl but these things just dont matter.
honestly, who here would commit suicde if they were infertile?

I have external speakers attached to my pc which I purchased seperatly. Stupidly when tidying up my pc i deleted the software for them (silly I know!) anyways I can no longer find the installation disk that came with my speakers. Is there any way I can make them work again? Is it possible to download software that will make them work. or is it a case of lost software useless speakers??

ok, so I want to know what you think...I'm really good friends with this guy, and he comes over my house all the time and everything...one night he came over and he was over from like 10-4am and he layed his head on my lap and tickled my upper inner leg and my side, and he would wrap his arms around me and stuff...at like 4 in the morning my mom woke up tog et ready for work, so before he left he gave me a hug..which isnt any different than normal besides he's the one that like initiated the hug, and i'm the one that usually does...ok, so for like a week after that he started avoiding me and all this...and he was skipping on of his classes, and i was in study hall in the cafeteria and he came in so skip, he started talking to me for just a little btit. He sat at the same table,a nd we have soem of the same friends...we used to talk on the phone every night or almost every night and now he doesnt pick up the phone.some of my friends think he likes me and just doesnt no how to express it

I mean come on this is not a good place to see what people think about candidates. Hillary will have a lot of support from moderates voters who arn't over critical of everything. George Bush's presidency will be fresh in voters minds (which is not a good thing) take last years election. People were very dissatified with republicans and thats not going to change with a snap of a finger. Republicans said John Kerry was a joke and wouldnt even get close to winning, but look how close the election was. I personally won't vote for Hillary in the primary because she is not my favorite candidate, but I will almost surely vote for her in the general if she were to be the candidate. I'm just tired of people acting like she has no chance. If she is up against Rudy or John Mccain it will be just as close as the last two presidential elections I guarantee it.

I am usually not like this...she just makes me feel so good, and we get along so well when we're together, and sometimes we get into dumb arguments when we're apart. I know she's a good person and someone I want to be with, she even helped me buy a present for my sponsored child yesterday. Am I making a big mistake by risking our friendship and relationships?
