brush your hair every night before you go to bed, to "activate" the hair folicles. and wearing a tight ponytail helps.

The cheapest way to 'affect' hair growth is by waiting. Right?
Oops. I'm back. I almost made a mistake.
Oh yea, I forgot. 'Hair' does not 'grow', it is produced.
Hair
"...consists of keratinized cells, tightly cemented together, which arise from the matrix at the base of a follicle. A follicle is a tubular epidermal downgrowth that penetrates into the dermis and widens into a bulb (the hair root) at its deep end. The follicle, together with a lateral outgrowth called the sebaceous gland, forms the pilosebaceous system. Rapid cell production in the matrix, and differentiation in the regions immediately above, produces a hair shaft which protrudesfrom the follicle mouth at the skin surface."

There is no magic formula to rub on your scalp. Eat a balanced diet, take your vitamins and use a good conditioner to prevent breakage. Don't use too much product, because that can block the pores of your scalp. Do bursh your hair to stimulate the blood flow in your scalp and to distribute the natrual oils from the scalp to the shaft of your hair. Don't invest any money on false promises, those creams won't make your hair grow, your boobs grow, or get rid of cellulite. Use your common sense, and don't fall for it!

Theres nothing you can do to make it grow FASTER but you can make it grow STRONGER which will help make it longer.
Add more protien to your diet, protien is an amino acid thats essential to keep your hair strong.
Take Biotin or pre-natal vitamins. These help promote healthy hair, skin, and nails
Massage your scalp. This helps stimulate the folicles.

Hair grows at the rate hair grows; there is NOTHING you can do which will change this rate. Sadly, the world is full of people who are more than happy to charge you money to try and convince you otherwise.
Maybe I should just join them? "Eat a dill pickle on any day that has a "T" in it, and turn three times (clockwise) on the spot at six o'clock (PM) every day, whilst saying out loud 'long follicle, long follicle, whither thou come'st this way, Taraday!' "
Send me a dollar if it works...

Use main and tail. Its awesome!... I use it because I'm always having to do something new with my hair. I'm in several pageants in our community. But also massage your scalp while bathing... it seems really weird but it works. Good luck girl!
