And tried really hard not to laugh at their five o'clock shadow? It happened to me when at Taco Bell. The tranny was a worker there with dollar tree store make-up and a bad wig.

i have in my town. I live in a small town of 30,000 so you see the same people walk around and i always see this one guy (uh girl i guess) who wears very trampy clothes that look slutty and his make up and wigs look so bad! It's pretty funny cuz he doesn't even try to look good he just looks trashy like some prostitute. I've seen transvestites on TV that look good and wear decent clothes but this guy looks like he just came out of the dollar tree! Plus he is tall with an adams apple and a deep voice and huge feet that don't fit the little heels he wears.

There is a transvestite like that in my town and whenever I see him/her I have a hard time not laughing. Some poor transvestites who can't afford--or don't know where to go to get--the right treatment end up looking like the transvestite you described. It is sad and I feel sorry for them. I am sure they would be happier living in Hollywood with an expensive plastic surgeon who was prescribing them the right mix of hormones. I can't begin to imagine the suffering a poor transvestite in Middle America must suffer. It just makes me glad that I don't have a sexual identity crisis.

Nah, I wouldn't laugh. I'm a transsexual, which is quite different from a transvestite, but still... they have a lot of courage to go out in public, when there is no chance of passing as a woman. But they're not always trying to pass--they usually just want to be themselves.
I pass well, and (I think) I am always accepted as a woman in public, but there was a time, when I was just starting on my journey as a transsexual, that I couldn't pass. The first time out in public as a woman was AGONY.
So these transvestites get major credit from me!

dont be jealouse that she looked better than you do when your dressed. everyone has to start somewhere.

ohh by the way if she was working there like that then most likely she isnt a transvestite. she is a transsexual and traying to make a move to go full time.

before you criticize people you should learn the difference between a transsexual and a transvestite.

now why dont you grow up and go appologise for laughing. if you knew how much guts it takes to do what she is doing you woiuld be amazed. yes im saying she has more guts than you.

Well, let's be real here. If they are working at dollar tree, they aren't wealthy.
And... a lot of transexuals develop a loopy sense of self image because of how we treat them.

But I know... I used to think it was only 6'4" guys who became transexuals, until a co-worker pointed out to me that there are probably MANY MANY more, and we only see the ones who can't pass.

As a general rule I try very hard not to judge people. I feel that some people are just different, and we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord.

I've seen guys who looked better in a dress than most women do. You shouldn't make fun of other people. I'm sure he laughed at you after you left.
