I am 36 weeks prego, and I had my weekly check today. When the doc did the cervical exam he said that I was 1 centimeter dialted. Now I was in shock at the time and forgot to ask questions. I would like to hear from other woman what they think this means. Is it normal for this to happen? And if you went though this what happened in your case? Does this mean it is coming quicker than I thought?

Hi, I am an Italian student and i need some suggestions for my thesis.
I am conducting a research about the influence of latin in English, mainly
from the legal point of view. For this reason I am looking for a legal text

I was at the Menil Collection (a museum in Houston, TX) last week, and stumbled upon a spectacular piece by Magritte.

In the center of the oil-on-canvas painting is an old-style shotgun, leaning against a wooden wall. The shotgun is covered in splatter of blood. The pattern of the splatter is that which one would expect to appear on the victim, not the gun.

Absolutely brilliant...

It was titled "Survival", by Rene Magritte.

The problem is, I CANNOT find any image or mentioning of it online... Seems as if it doesn't exist!

Ok, so I've been seeing this guy for nearly two weeks, and I really like him. But, lately I think he's kind of getting annoyed at me. I seem to always be where he is (it's a total axident) and I think he's kind of gets to much of me. What do I do? Some people believe that God is testing us. Putting obstacles before us to see if we are ready to be with him in heaven. Others believe that that there is no God and that unintelligent evolution drives us. If the Christians are right, nobody wins because the Devil would of collected all of the atheists souls. If the atheists are right, that means every thing we do in this life wont matter afterwards. A very Sophist view. I believe that if we were all atheist, many people will start to lose morality. The wars may stop, but more conflict would arise do to the increase of desire for ones self.

Considering the number of insurance claims resulting from drinking drivers under the subtitle of personal injuries it is so easy to receive a compensation package related to those alcohol related injuries.

Would you prefer a compensation package of similar design rather than the severe and inadequate welfare packages meant to sustain fetal alcohol injuries ? Adding insult to injury have you felt inadequate each time you read what experts have to say about FAS, is FAV kinder ?

FAS = foetal alcohol syndrome
FAV = foetal alcohol victim

What say you when taxpayers complain FAS is a drag on today's economy.
