A drunk is stumbling through the woods when he happens
upon a preacher baptising folk in the river
He ambles down to the water's edge then trips and falls down
before the holy man. Almost overcome by the smell of alcohol, the preacher pipes up:
"Lord have mercy on your drunken soul, brother - are you ready to find Jesus?"
Out of his skull, the drunk agrees: "Yes, I am!" he replies. And with that,
the preacher grabs him and dunks him under the water.
Moments later, he drags the boozer back up: "Brother, have you found Jesus?"
"No, preacher," stammers the drunk, "I have not!". Stunned by this,
the preacher sends the drunk down again... this time leaving him there a little longer.
Shortly he drags him back up again: "Rid your soul of the poison, brother -
have you found Jesus?" Gasping for air, the drunk splutters a
reply: "No, preacher - I have not!" At his wit's end, the preacher sends the
drunk down one last time.
A full minute later, he pulls him out: "For the love of God,"
shouts the preacher, "tell me you've found Jesus!"
Coughing his lungs up, the drunk wipes his eyes and turns to the
preacher:"You sure this is where he fell in?"

I am one of those people who think a shelter hound is as good of a pet as any of the wonderful pure-breeds out there. I feel that our society should take care of the animals we already have before we bring more into the world. I tend to advocate adopting shelter animals over buying from pet stores. And to further grow my confusion, we now have "designer dogs" showing up in the arms of celebrities and their fans alike.

Please tell me WHY one would choose an animal as a fashion accessory or because it is the latest trend? What does one do with the "designer dog" when he doesn't match one's new wardrobe or is now so-yesterday?

What is the intent of breeding a "designer dog" other than to fill a niche in the pet market?

My daughter gave birth to a son and asked for me to stay 2 wks to help out. I travelled 6 hours, visited her in hospital for a week and after 2 days at home, sin exploded and accused me of hovering over him and the baby! I thot I was enjoying the baby with him and never suspected I was bothering him, so I apologized and decided to come back home. I am motified, upset and really don't ever want to speak to him again. What do I do?

I am very scared of my dad having a heart attack and dying. I pray that he will never die and cry every night because I am so scared. I would just miss him so much. I am almost in tears as i write this. I love him so much...and i always hear about all of these guys in their 40's dying and i am so scared that that will happen to my dad. Any comforting words?? advice ? is this normal?

Touchy, touchy
smiles laughts and jokes with me
extra nice to me
fix it where spend alone time together
buy me lunch or breakfast
helps me out with my kids
if I need something make sure I get it or tell where to get it
listen to my advice
trust me
we think the same way, mostly agree with each other
at work people say we look like a married couple
very polite open door for me but does all women like that
starrs at me
one time lick his tounge at me
hugged me so long I thought I was a little girl
gazes into my eyes
he want to tell me things about me but does not afraid of my reaction Tell me is it love or like?

I am not one of those "girly girls" because I prefer to be myself. A couple of girls in the hallway today (the girly girls) told me that I should dress like a "real girl" because "every guy in this world wants to date a girly girl." Ok me and my boyfriend have been together for 1 month!
