everytime i turn on the lights in the house my baby just stares at them,i usually dont let her do that,but is it safe for a 2.5 month old baby to look at the lights?also can i let her watch tv?

Hi!
If you are a woman who was adopted as a child/baby and have gone on to have children of your own, I would love to here from you for the folllowing reason.
My wife and i agreed last year we wanted to start a family. At the beginning of the pregnancy, we were both really excited.
However, my wife began to lose interest very quickly and seemed to become very nervous, not talking to me and crying a lot.
She also refused to watch any of the scans that were done.
The birth was very difficult but both her and the baby are now fine. The problem is that a week and a half on,she has not bonded with our baby, seems very down and refuses to pick him up, feed him play with him etc.
Obviously, i am really concerned.
Thinking about it all, i am worried the fact she was adopted as a young child may have something to do with this as she does not have a good relationship with her adoptive parents and seems to feel very bitter towards her natural mother for not having kept her.
Can U HELP

I would like to make it abundantly clear that whilst the recent movie "Ghost Rider" may make people think of my script idea story they are not alike. There is no or little love interest and I concentrate on dangerous "Black Mambo" gang members and a city at night where crime is constant and the police are as vulnerbale as the citizens. Though I have not seen the movie "Ghost Rider" I have checked the plot and thus can say my story is nothing alike other than my character at points drives a classic motorcycle and is clad in leather.

My script focuses on a ruthless leather clad man who kills without emotion and is driven by unknown goals. To an extent like the Kill Bill movies he encounters the dangerous "Black Mambo" gang. The movie focuses a lot on the gang and their torture of innocents. As yet I have not mapped out the reasons for my main character. He is accompanied by a oil black haired female in which a twist occurs towards the end of the movie.

Well I was with this head cheerleader for 3years and her mom made her go to camp. All girl camp. When she came back at the first day of school she had a new boyfriend and he was a new guy at the school. So then I made a bet with friends that can pickup any of these girls and turn them into homecoming queen. When I first saw this girl I thought she was just horrible. But when meet the real her she was perfect and I loved her family too. She was everything I would want in a girl. But then my ex (the one who went for the new guy) told me that she broke up with him for me. And now I don't know who to choose. Oh I forgot I kinda like the ex.

I am trying to use my friends extra directv hd box and when I set it up, it will scan for local channels and locks them in, however it won't display them. Instead, it displays the subscriber # and tells me the card is not active. Is there a way around this?

in my school, my classmates just go buy ready made projects from other students.. which make them go easy with it. but is it really worth it? besides of getting caught, which is rarely happening but really critical; you wouldnt learn the main concept or the achievement that you would gain in doing your homework.. i believe that these things dont just happen in my school but everywhere too...

he is more than everything I dreamed of finding in a guy: sweet, intelligent, hardworking, ambitious, successful, attractive, motivated, supportive, trustworthy, etc. We met nearly a year ago at a time when my ex and I were broken up - I never in my life thought I would fall in love with anyone else, and then he came along. He is talking marriage and a family and gets very excited about it all... and I love it, I am ready to begin life with him!

Problem is we live 8 hours apart and one of us has to move. We both are very fortunate with amazing jobs. He is self-taught and I have a degree. I would have to give up the house I just bought and the job I absolutely love to be with him, or he would have to give up the job he absolutely loves and might never find another like it in my city. It would be easier for me to find a job where he is.

Neither of us have family in our cities, I only have 1 good friend here and believe there is more to life than work, am I crazy to consider?

Don't you find it strange that they will test the janitor at a company and not the CEO? The person that fills the vending machines on capitol hill is tested but not the congress. Soldiers are drug tested and not the Commander in Chief. The person who brings your food to you in the hospital is tested and not the doctor? Just curious..........

i have had body aches and have been feeling week the past couple of days. yesterday i also had a headache above my eyes. i have NO other symptoms though and NO fever... don't you have to have a fever to have the flu? i am not stuffed up, my throat is fine and i am not coughing. Im almost 20 years old, I am pregnant with my 2nd baby, the only thing is The father of the baby im carrying is denying the baby ( Only after me and him broke up ) We were engaged last year and were suppose to have been in love, He was so happy when he found out me and him were having a baby together but after I left him and broke off our engagement because he was abusive to me and always made me feel like I was the one who should feel lucky that he was with me because no one would ever love me like he did ( even with all the abusive things he did ) . So now him and his family calls me a whore and doesn't claim that the baby im carrying is my ex fiances and im 38 weeks, I make no contact at all with him or his family, However the twist is, After me and him broke up , 2 months later I started dating someone else and he is really supportive with me through all this, and he loves my 2 year old daughter alot, so thats one of the reasons I think my ex fiance is denying our baby...help!

I'm a 39 yr old guy who works full time, going to school taking 16 credits this semester and is a single dad. I asked this question not to long ago and got some good answers but was wondering if there really is something wrong with me. Every time I try to talk to a female, I have forgotten what to say or do. I have no problems interacting with females I work with but anything outside of work is painful for me. The thing of it is, is that I was in a relationship for 7 yrs and the best thing out of that was my beautiful daughter. Now 2 yrs later after my relationship has been done I still find myself alone, longing for the touch and company of a women. The biggest problem I'm having is the female not understanding that my daughter comes first and that is the bottom line. Anybody would take a back seat to her it's just how it's going to be. I don't know, why can't anybody understand that a bond between father and daughter is stronger than anything I have ever felt. Thank You
