Take the equation for velocity. Velocity is a vector, meaning it is based on magnitude and direction.

Velocity = Change in Distance / Change in Time

Cross multiply to get:

Velocity * Change in Time = Change in Distance

Divide by Velocity to get:

Change in Time = Change in Distance / Velocity

Now, we want time to go backwards, so let's make the Change in Time negative. But to do so, we'll have to multiply the other side by -1 as well.

-Change in Time = -Change in Distance / Velocity

So what this is saying, is that to make time go back, we'll need to have a velocity in one direction while the distance changed from this velocity is in the other direction. This is an impossible feat.

Please tell me if there is something wrong with my logic here. I know that time travel is illogical anyway, but please tell me if I've done something wrong here.

when I leave my tv on I have no problem getting the satellite signal, but when I power it off and back on again I have trouble getting the signal. It will take several minutes for the picture to eventually start to come in, and then it will be fine as long as I don't turn the tv off. I can't imagine what difference turning the tv off then on again would effect the satellite signal but it does in a huge way.

I usually wears jeans and a t- shirt and sometimes a t- shirt with a botton up shirt left unbottoned or only partley bottoned so people can see the cool picture. my step mom (actually not yet just my dad's girl friend) wears usually 2 shirts and a sweater. But then when she gets warm she opens the front door which makes me cold. should I be the one to have to go get a nother shirt or sweater or something? Or should she take here sweater off? It currently is only about 40 degrees out side.

God that song gets on my nerves. She's hardly shy or scarred b/c of her father divorcing her mother. I think it gives kids an excuse to blame parents instead of taking responsibility for their lives.
