I don't know if it's normal or not but what I can tell you is my experience. I'm 26 weeks today (6 months and 2 weeks) and my baby is already 2 pounds. I imagine at 7 months the baby should be around 3 pounds or close to it. I'm sure your doctor would have told you if it were abnormal or if there was something to be concerned about. You can always call them to discuss the baby's weight if you're concerned.

Yes it is normal. Babies gain wait during the last 4 weeks of the pregnancy. One pound per week is what I heard so your baby will probably end up being a 6 or 7 pound baby

The doctor would of said something if it was a problem, trust me

Don't count on what the estimated weight is at the doctor's office. When I was almost 9 months pregnant with my daughter they told me she would weighed 3 pounds at birth. She weight 7 Pounds 9 Oz. I panicked over nothing. Take it with a grain of salt. As long as your baby is healty that's all that matters. Good Luck!

I am pregnant with twins and at 28 weeks the babies weighed 2 lbs 6 oz and 2 lbs 7 oz. I am now 33 weeks and they are weighing in at 4 3/4 lbs. I never worried about the babys weight with my singletons so I really dont know if there is a difference between singles or twins.

most babies at 7 months of pregnancy are about 3 pounds and 16 inches long. but don't worry, if your baby is only 2 pounds, he or she will have plenty of time to put on more weight. in the last month they put on an ounce of weight every day!!!

I do not know how tall you are, or how much you weigh, or how much weight you have gained during your pregnancy.
Most babies grow one pound a week during the last month of pregnancy.
By the time he or she is born, your baby should be at a normal, healthy weight.
Keep eating healthy and exercising every day.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

If your doctor was concerned with the weight of the baby, he would have told you.

Usually babies grow the most in the third trimester. I am sure in the couple of week you will be packing on pounds because your baby will grow very very fast.

Two pounds right now for you is fine, you will notice very soon that you are gaining weight very fast, well so is your baby. anywhere from 4 to 6 pounds in the next two months for your little one. Congrats!

your baby will start putting on the most weight from now until birth, that is why you will notice the baby slowing down as it gets bigger and you will notice your stomach getting huge in the 8th and 9th month and it is not uncommon at all for a baby to be 6lbs at birth. as long as your doctor isn't concerned them don't worry I am sure your baby is growing fine.
