I can handle the truth regardless of who it's coming from as long as it is indeed the truth and not someone's opinion. Granted the way it's delivered has a lot to do with how quick I accept it.

It's easier handling the truth from family because you trust them more.
Sometimes coming from a stranger though, they won't be so nice about it and it may hurt more. But yet sometimes it hurts from a loved one depending on the "truth" being spoken.
I would want to hear it from a close friend or family member because of how it would be handled coming from them. I know they wouldn't hurt me on purpose.
Hope this helps

I love the truth!! I hate being lied to or having someone beat around the bush. If the truth hurts me its probly my fault but i know that a lie hurts worse. Tell the truth in all situations. But for sure always be civil and nice about it.

knowing the truth hurts a lot of the times, like when my husband tells me the truth. only because I know it usually points out something I need to fix about myself or the house, etc.

I expect the absolute truth from everyone all the time at what ever emotional expense for myself it might cost. I need the truth to keep my sanity. haha
