Kellie Carkson, Because of you?
God that song gets on my nerves. She's hardly shy or scarred b/c of her father divorcing her mother. I think it gives kids an excuse to blame parents instead of taking responsibility for their lives.

For those that say change the station, I turn it off until the song is over. The point of my question was to get other's responses to the song.

I think the point to song is that her parents were divorced when she was a little girl and her mother freaked out in front of her all the time, and she was too young to understand so it scared the heck out of her..she doesn't want to get into a relationship because she doesn't ever want to be hurt like her mom was...a child relies on their parents to always be strong...saying they need to take responsibility is a little hard for a small child to do...it is a very sad song....in other words YES I hate that song..reminds me of my life in a lot of ways

You can come up with your own idea behind songs and actually, I like this one as well as a few of the others. As a general rule, when I hear a song I don't care for, I just change the station.

She annoys me in general. All of her songs. I can't stand her.
