Hi I was wondering if there is any shortcut(avoiding the horrendous 405 freeway) from the city of Hawthorne(near the southbay) to UCLA? It about 16.7 miles away from UCLA, but the traffic makes it so bad.

I used the 405 to culver city by LA cienga exit, but traffic is still horrible in the city, is there a 405 freeway in the city? I can't find it.

So with that being said, does this also mean that gay people are happy? I know this is not true.

When did this become acceptable to refer to a "gay old time" or to a homosexual as being "gay"?

I work part time, go to college, and have absolutely no social life. It's not that I don't have time, it's that I have trouble talking to and meeting new people. There's one specific guy that I work with that I'd like to get to know better but, I have no idea what to talk about with him. And in my experience, it's difficult to keep a guy's attention long enough for him to be interested. What can I talk about?

I have been on the weight watchers diet for over 6 weeks I have never gone over my points and I am exercising on a bicycle with resistance everyday for an hour. I have only managed to lose 8 pounds I feel like Im killing myself. In the past with dieting and exercise the weight has come off much faster. I am on the depo preva shot could this be affecting my weight loss? I need to lose about 80 lbs....please some one give me some advice!!!

I am just beginning to write chidren's books after 20 years of teacher elem/preschool, but at 56, not being a mother nor grandmother of young children, I need to update myself. They will actually be Christian books, but I just need to know what age group would be interested in seeds, planting and germinating, in very basic vocabulary of course.

I hate mine with a passion. They bother me so much. My husband of course loves them. I am trying to lose weight to be as thin as possible to reduce them as much as possible. If I could get an operation I'd do it in a heartbeat. To think you hear so many women enlarge them. I was just wondering if there are a lot of women that feel the way I do.

I have a few questions for all of you Bush haters. First of all, I know for a fact that if Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan attacked the U.S., you would all hate George Bush for not stopping it. Yet when he does some prevention (a.k.a. the Iraq and Afghanistan wars), you still hate him. Isn't it better to be fighting there than here? It was going to happen sooner or later. Also, why do you blame him for Hurricane Katrina? He didn't send the storm to Louisiana. He also isn't responsible for evacuating the state, it's the governer's job to warn the citizens of a deadly storm. Why is everything Bush's fault when all he's doing is trying to look out for the welfare of the U.S.? Are you just ungrateful? Stop blaming him for all of the problems he has no control over!

ok What are some ideas of some good anime/manga books to read. i just became obsessed with it a few months ago and read myy first one a year ago.. I want some ideas on some to read for me...

Vampire game- V1
Vampire Doll- V1-2 (have to wait 2 months for 3rd one)
Rozen Madien- V1-3(4th one comes out next month)
